Aggressive but he will need to solidify the secondary because he relies on man and blanket coverage to bring the heat up front:
Unlike the passive coverages and blitzes seen under Van Gorder, Mike Nolan employs a tenacious defense bent on pressuring the QB and overwhelming the offensive line. This involves blitzes from the LB corps, and coordination amongst the Front Seven. Nolan's aggressiveness leaves the secondary in some tight positions, relying on man coverage with safety blankets from the safeties. Thus with a solid secondary, Nolan is allowed to be more creative with his blitzes.
We are definitely winning the Super Bowl.
Not feeling sick anymore?Just what we needed. Hopefully we can bring in a good DT as well. Also, I hope he can teach those damn CB’s and safeties to turn their heads! This is shaping up to be good. I’m excited for the change.
I am happy you're excited. If we can get you on board we should be good.
This says to me, trade for Jamal Adams!
Love seeing you excited brother. You can count on a new ST guy. The old one was demoted to the scouting dept already lolI’m on officially onboard. I’ve watched the videos. Realized some coaches new fresh changes. He’s already in control of who he wants to bring in. I’m on board with Nolan. I see a bright upcoming with Moore. Now we just need a better ST coordinator lol.
Plus, he’s won more Superbowls than Garrett, so that should be enough to encourage me lol.
I'm happy they made a change.Im tellin you. Cant believe a spineless beta could have this type of job for so long
It has nothing to do with future success but he has coached some incredible players.
Lawrence Taylor, Michael Strahan in NY
Karl Mecklenburg in Denver
Darrell Green, Champ bailey in washington
Brian Cox, John Abraham at the NY Jets
Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs in Baltimore
Julian Peterson, Patrick Willis in SF
elvis Dumervil in Denver
Cameron Wake & Jason Taylor in Miami
John Abraham and Osi Umenyiora in Atlanta
he has been around some really talented guys. He has also has had greg Manusky and Jim Thomsula work for him when he has been a coordinator before and I think both were let go in washington..could be wrong on that. John Pagano also who is just an outside linebackers coach in houston.
He has such a long career and such a vast group of coaches and schemes he has coached in that he should be able to build a great defensive staff.
Not feeling sick anymore?
Lol... right on homie.I think that sick feeling was from partying too much after Garrett’s official release last night but I’m not sure. I’ve healed and come around.
Darrell Green???
How old is this guy?

From his Atlanta stint...
You've been living in the suburbs of Haterville for awhile now. I got my eye on you.
Don't make me report you to the boss.
