What the heck is in the water in Boston?

I can't believe the VP of the Red Sox basically came out and said that cheating is no big deal.

As a Red Sox fan of around 40 years I am really disappointed. Watching them blow another late season lead is bad enough, but cheating is never cool.

Must be something in the water.

Man.... I guess it's like this...

If you have 2-3 quarterbacks then you have none...

Yankees.... if you have three closers.... you have none.

Devastating loss. Tic toc....

Has Sandy Alderson been fired yet? If I had to keep one of Alderson and Collins it would be Collins. The game has passed Alderson by. Still acting like he works for the A's.

It's an in credible streak.

But are they peaking too early?

A month ago who would have guessed the Dodgers were going to lose 16 out of 17 games?

Amazing streak but in the final analysis, not sure it means much once post season starts.

Sadly it will probably just add to the pressure they face from being the Indians. Once the post-season starts, the narrative will be: "Will the Indians choke again?"

And the streak ends.

I find it funny that even with the 22 game winning streak the Indians are only up 1 game on Houston in the loss column.

Was thinking the exact same thing when they hit the 20 game mark. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they let down after that kind of streak.

They almost have too. The streak must have been incredibly draining emotionally. Again, look at the Dodgers. They way they were going who would have thunk they would lose 16 out of 17.

It's a very humbling game and the length of the season keeps Super Teams from being super for too long.

That's why I just want us (Angels) to get in. With the recent trades we made, and our depth in the BP, and a decent starting staff, we may do some damage.

Houston really mucked it up, taking 2 of 3 from us, tho

Houston has been up & down lately also. They're purposely resting starters here & there (especially relief pitchers) and putting guys out there who won't be on the playoff roster... And they're getting roughed up and losing some games they should have won.
