Alderson doing his "no problem" routine again. A couple of days ago matz just slept wrong. Now there are concerns he may not pitch in playoffs. Not sure if they need four for first round of playoffs.

Stros vs Skanks in a one game playoff. I am really torn on this one. Do I want to see the Lastros win and see the wife rub it in or the evil empire who proclaims to be the kings of NY?

There were probably folks associated with the Yankees (be it players or management) who were either in denial or were enablers.

I hope the guy gets the help he needs. The stats on rehab aren't good.

Regardless, the Yankees letting him waste start 29 games was ridiculous. One could tell in spring training that he was spent as even a mediocre starting pitcher.
 
I wonder if the Yankees were allowing him to consume alcohol in the clubhouse the same way the Redsox were allowing alcohol in their clubhouse during the Francona years.
 
I am tempted to go to tonight's game but two things work against me. I will leave the office late and me making the game on time is doubtful. Also the last 4 times I have been to Stadium, Yankees lost. My wife says maybe I should watch the game at home. Can't decide.

I'm a Yankees fan and I like the Astros.

I'd like to see the Yankees win because they showed a lot of grit and determination this season.

I'd like to see the Astros win because they've been kicked around the last 5 years and no one expected a place in the playoffs this season.

The Yankees are playing at home and have the experience edge.

The Astros are very young and may be intimidated.

The Yankees have played like crap over the past week and they're going against the probable Cy-Young winner in the AL.

The Astros do much better vs. righty's than lefty's and they hit homers.
