But how many INTs did he actually have? If you watched this guy, you could clearly see that he did not make the INTs. He made a lot of plays on the ball and he was able to defend a lot of plays successfully but he did not make a lot of INTs. Technically, that description of him was accurate. He did have ball skills but he didn't make INTs.
Sophomore year at LSU (2010)................. 5 INTs, that ranks him 3rd in the SEC for INTs for the season.
Junior year at LSU (2011)......................6 INTs, that ranks him again 3rd in the SEC, but also ranks him 6th in NCAA............named SEC DPOY.
For his career, he has 11 INTs, which ranks him 18th in NCAA (since 2000)
Not sure where you are getting the idea from that Mo didn't make interceptions.
Yeah, you are right. He did post those numbers at LSU. I never saw that when I watched him at LSU. I saw a guy who did not have great hands and dropped balls that he had to snatch out of the air. I did see him knock down a lot of balls and make plays on balls but not a guy who made catches.
The fact that he posted those numbers at LSU is what is so confusing about Mo.................how can he suck so bad at the pro level when he dominated the SEC?
Cowboys don’t intend to pick up option on their 2012 first-round pick CB Morris Claiborne

The Cowboys have no intention of exercising the option for a fifth season on Morris Claiborne’s contract, but no official announcement is expected until after the draft, a source said.
In recent days, 15 players have had their options picked up by clubs that selected them in the first round of the 2012 draft. Claiborne isn’t among them and the source said he’s “not a priority’’ at the moment as the club focuses on the draft.

Good.
I will say this. I don't think that the quality of the passing game in the SEC is as good as other Conferences in the NCAA. I think it comes down to Mo's skill set. As I said earlier, I do believe that if he were able to play in a scheme that is suited to his skills, he would be a much better player.
trade him for a 4th, hopefully someone is dumb enough to do it, trade our 3rd for Brockers , use the extra 4th to trade back into the 3rd. its a wrap.
He'll go to a team that tells him to cover the guy in front of him and probably go on to have a solid career.
True- we've been trying to force a square peg through a round hole. The comments made before about him going to another team where he has man press assignments and will recover his career I suspect are correct.
We COULD try to fit the scheme to his talents, but I guess his history of bustideousness so far has not granted him the benefit of any doubt from the coaching staff.
Or they are just that stubborn in their scheme...
I say "we" when I meant the Cowboy's coaching staff. I guess I truly have attached my ego to this team after all these decades...
Will they put the hot tub on wheels and roll him out on the field in it?

I don't think they are stubborn I think you had different DC when Mo and Carr came to Dallas.
This isn't news. It would be news if it said we were picking it up.
I made no definitive claims, just casual statements on the subject. Even if they were stubborn, I wouldn't blame them. What has Morris Claiborne done to warrant changing their philosophy?
True, I think everything is on Claiborne shoulders this season. I expect him to go to camp and compete, he will either step up and show the talent that many saw in him or he will fail and be gone after pre season or the end of the year.
I hope he blows the doors off. Man, I hope he does.
We will draft S Landon Collins out of Bama!
