No, that's not for sure at all. He was on the team week after week with chance to not screw up during practice. What's "sure" is he did not show enough during the week to be given more opportunities during a game. When he was given the ball in games he never did anything special. He had his shot. He didn't make it. Time to move on.

By the way, I was pretty excited when we got him because I thought we'd gotten a good back for pennies. HIs inablilty to make a difference is on HIM.

I was fine with letting DeMarco go in the offseason because I thought the organization would have some better plan for getting a quality RB or two in here. The mismanagement of acquiring RB talent is absolutely stunning. I'm not even sure it's all their fault. It seems they can't catch a break on any of their moves. Still, they are responsible for taking a team strength and letting it rot away.

This has been botched from the very beginning................to go from the NFL Offensive Player of the Year to McFadden and a blow up doll is laughable.

As Nick Eatman said yesterday, McFadden averaged 1.9 a carry against the sorry arse Bucs and their 29th ranked defense................let that sink in a while.
