The throw to the end zone that was knocked down would have been 6 if it was thrown higher.

Dez never gets wide open unless it is a blown coverage. You just throw it and trust he is going to outfight the defense.

2-3 time just today . I love Dez attitude but he just doesn't get the job done for what he's being paid .

Since he has got his contract he has not earned it.. I agree with that.

But he broke his foot and it's only been 1 game this season.

Dez never gets open because teams leave a safety over the top. It's easy to do that considering JG doesn't move him around. His best season, 14, he was all over the field, unfortunately for us fans, he was all over the field because Romo altered plays at the line so much.

I'm not saying I want this to happen but for all the capologists out there I have a question. If Romo is done after next year and I use next year because I believe in other threads we've discussed we can release or trade him until after next season, then how much would it cost the cap to move or cut Bryant?

I don't want to lose Martin or Collins to keep Dez if Romo isn't playing. So lets say they both leave/cut/traded after next season. Is that possible with their salary and the salary cap. anybody know?
25 Million in dead money to cut or trade.

No cap hit for Jerry to hire a professional boxer to stand on the sideline and punch Dez in the face when he does stupid stuff.

This is supposed to be a great run blocking line but they didn't show it today.

Cmon man I know you're a Dez homer , but I've never seen a player have so much hype and have so much trouble controlling the ball. Dez needs to just relax , get his feet down and hold onto the ball. He IS NOT elite anymore. Dez also doesn't run great routes, watching AJ Green today vs REvis made me realize how much Dez is lacking in route running.
AJ green is a stud. Dang he's smooth

They also have a lot of drive hindering penalties with their holdings and false starts.

On the field, they are not even close to the best line in the league.

For all of you with amnesia who think Dez can't jump anymore this is him on 1 foot last year.

This is crazy talk.

Our OL is incredible.. Look at other teams OL play.

Dez plays for a coaching staff that lets defenses take him away.. It is what it is.

Except for Free.. Free stunk up the joint..

And run blocking was garbage this game... They keep saying the Giants stacked the line this game, but every team did that all last year and McFadden had a good year.. Run blocking was trash..

Plenty of plays that they had 8 in the box and single coverage on Dez and he didn't get open.

People still with the oline? That was the giants dline. Don't know why most of you thought it wouldn't be good.

Dez has always struggled to get open. Love Dez but a so called elite wr shouldn't have that problem as much as he does no matter the scheme!

thats mostly because when 5 men are asked to block 7 the odds are not good.

the giants said they were going to stop the run, they attacked it, it worked.

the line is not overrated or bad. The giants happen to be a good defense.

Don't bother man. I'm telling you. It's a waste of time.

I can't get over how everyone rides the up and down wave. I know the media tries to train people to live and die from week to week but at some point you have to use your head a little.

We're calling Dez and our OL overrated? If I were a mod I'd ban all of you who agree with this.

Doug Free is the only reason the OL doesn't earn it's greatness badge. He's a turnstile on a 3 finger man. What's he going to do when he faces DE's that are 100%? Our run blocking either was there and Zeke wasn't struggling, or Morris received better holes to run through? Clearly Morris seemed more effective and I am as big of a Zeke homer as there is. Still am. I was expecting more from him today. Dez has either the worst luck of all time with this catch rule or he's just not elite. In fairness after the big grab to setup the Giant's first TD it isn't like ODBJ was tearing us apart either. I think scheme took him out of the game but he's got to get those balls when they come his way. If you're getting schemed and the ball finally comes your way you've got to grab it.
