Good evening Pops and friends. I'm glad you enjoyed my story, Colo. I'll never regret having sinus surgeries because they really helped me.

Hey Toddy, I found a product over 10 years ago called Green Vibrance. Drag your butt out of bed, drink a smoothie with that and feel like an instant Olympian (not the Bruce Jenner kind). It was that good. I simply kept it in my cabinets. My ex saw where it said refrigerate after opening, so he did. Once it went to the refrigerator, it lost all obvious effects. I got another jar and it didn't have any of the mojo my first container had pre chill. I bought a third and it had a little bit of that wonderful boost. I think there must be a sweet spot of time to buy it where it's been manufactured and the probiotics are still having a pow wow. It's pretty much a gamble every time you purchase, so I don't feel right recommending it.

I hope everyone had a good Thursday.

Morning Pops and friends, from lovely, rainy Upper Manhattan (aka - Harlem). I had to pull over here to take my mandatory half hour break, otherwise I would have been in violation of DOT rules. I was lucky to finally find what I think might be a legal parking spot.

May everyone be as lucky as I am today!

How long can you hold it? I'll jump on a jet to come witness a legal parking spot.

Morning Pops and fellow tired of the HC stuff already fans. I am glad Ed Werder and his "reliable source" were reunited. I've missed him.

Change for change's sake is needed in this situation even if it could be for the worse. In Garrett's tenure as a HC, between 60 and 90 HC's have received their walking papers and it's his turn and as usual, Booger tried to milk the media for that.

I am not really jazzed about the next HC until I hear and see how differently he's treated and the power he is granted with his players. If all they're doing is changing that position and not taking a really hard and long look at that culture and who built that, it is window dressing.

Morning Pops and Wild Card Weekenders. Pretty interesting games yesterday and seeing the Pats lose at home and not seeing Kraft high fiving little old ladies with his pudgy mitts was a welcome sight. If I had his hands, I'd seek out assistance elsewhere too.

I am conflicted with the Eagles-Seahawks game. I can't stand them but what they've done with all of those injuries is quite impressive and I think it would tick Booger off even more if they won and anything that makes him sad, makes me happy. And that would be salt in the wound because the Cowboys were one of the least injured teams this year.

And the other game will be fun because it's another opportunity to see how the Vikings wasted 84M on what do you call married people in Arkansas?

Thankfully, ESPN is done with games for this season. I cannot stand listening to those two idiots, Mr. Drama and Mr. Duh. I thought Romo did an excellent job last night. I hope Aikman can get through his game today without talking about Booger.

Weather is just magnificent here today, going to 77 with clear skies. And please, just because I said something nice about the weather, don't save this and bring it up in July/August when I am on my seasonal weather rant.

Good afternoon Pops and friends. I'm trying to make good use of this day with brief breaks to watch football while I have it. There are only few things worse than a Cowboys fumble, they're called any sport on TV with a round ball. That's my opinion and I will continue to stick with it.

Yesterday was a treat to listen to Romostradamas and then today the legend himself, Troy Aikman. I watched Tom Brady look almost human last night and got a feeling he couldn't wait to get out of the stadium. The Texans beat Cole Beasley and his Bills. I was very conflicted on that game. Should I root for the other Texas team or for my former Cowboy? Yes, he's mine and I will continue to claim all former Cowboys as long as I can. Today, I don't know whether to root for Dan Bailey or those pain in my tookus Saints. Life will become little less tolerable if they win. The NFL pheromones will start to rage and they'll seek extra fans to support the team. Dyed in the silver and blue Cowboy fans cannot be persuaded to root for other teams to do well. We can root for maiming and humiliation of other teams all day long. Shoot what did they think I was doing all season?

Well, the game is back on and I still haven't figured out what to do today to comfortably lay my head on my pillow tonight feeling a sense of accomplishment. I guess I could work on that bathroom wall play list some more. Have a good Sunday everyone and my the teams you are betting on win.

Afternoon Pops and everyone.

Spent several hours this morning going through stuff in storage to try to find things to throw out that I didn't NEED for the move. After about 2 hours working on repairing my grandma's antique hutch, I remembered I already went through the clean-out exercise when I moved back to town after my guy passed away. I have a good grasp on what's there and where things are going in the new place (provided I get it), so I came back upstairs to the apartment and started to box up everything I'm pretty sure I won't NEED before the move. I ran out of boxes for now but asked myself 'if I don't NEED any of these things before the move, why do I NEED them at all?' I have a feeling I'll be getting rid of some things post-move but since the house has 2 complete kitchens I'm thinking I will wait so I'm sure both have sufficient knives, etc.

How did I acquire all this crap!?

I'm glad I decided to start this nonsense early so I'm ready by the time closing rolls around mid April.

As for football... I haven't watched any and actually forgot this was playoff weekend until I saw something about the Pats this morning. What a disappointing season, again, for (us) our Cowboys. I sure hope they figure something out in the off season as to how to play well together and reel in some of those egos for the sake of the team.

Back to the kitchen and organizing for packing.

Have a good one people.

Morning Pops and all Y'all. Friday was a long travel day starting with getting up at 2:30 a.m. to get to the airport, but we made it safely to our Condo. I walked along the beach yesterday and took a tumble while climbing a rocky jetty about 8' high. I fell on my back on the rocks but, like a good ol' cowboy, I brushed myself off and tried again. When I made it to the top I could hear the Rocky theme playing in my head and raised my arms in victory. Thankfully, I was not injured. Just bruised.

I ended up getting shots in both my eyes on Thursday. Eyes are getting worse all the time. I'm imagining a tumor pressing against my optic nerves.

At least that might be curable. Wet AMD is not.

Wishing everyone a happy Monday, especially those getting back into the grind after the holidays.

Morning Pops and friends.

Well, Garrett's gone and I'm glad, though I honestly don't know why I'm glad. He wasn't a great coach, but he wasn't a terrible coach either. I think I'm mostly glad because I'm tired of people whining about every little move he makes. "OMG, can you believe he puts pepper on his mashed potatoes? What a terrible coach!" I know, people will be complaining about the new coach, but at least the complaints will be different...at first.

Good Monday morning Pops and those lamenting that the 5 day work week has returned but for those of us that are retired, we are getting by with something once again. I don't enjoy the holidays as much because I know everybody is off except the c store people. They will inherit the earth.

Leon, guys our age have no business climbing rocks and you're lucky you just got bruises. I see rocks and immediately go into my Tim Conway shuffle. Sorry about your eyes, I will keep the good thought for you.

Well, I agree with Runny, I am ready for some new complaints and I don't know if it's me or not but this Fan Forum is a nut job. I just read some of the threadlines last night and thought 'naaaaaaaah, I'm going to bed".

As usual, the Dallas Cowboys are a total embarrassment and do not seem capable of handling the simplest tasks other teams handle without trying to max the exposure by making an announcement while other teams are playing in their well earned playoff spots. That pathetic posing and posturing patriarch of the pitiful pretenders just can't stand not being in the news.

The Eagles are gone from the playoffs but they refused to go quietly and how about a 40 year old QB giving everything he had to try and help his wounded team. McCown is no 30M QB, just a hell of a teammate and as much as I don't like the Eagles, I watched that man limp for a half and continue to do all he could. He earned the respect of both of those teams and that was the highpoint of my WC playoff weekend. The lowest paid QB to play on the weekend and the gutsiest performance.

A quick good morning Pops and friends. I have to blast off for work, but not without stopping by. Leon, I'm so sorry to hear about your eyes and your fall. Please be careful out there. I hope this will bring you comfort, but doubt it; if things get to bad, you can always hire a seeing @CouchCoach to make sure you never miss an attractive woman (for the nominal fee of $25 per week*, he will describe her for you), a beautiful sunset (description extra) and happy hour.

You know how we are!

Unhappy Monday.

* for $10 extra, he will exaggerate and lie her beauty, lack of fabric in her swimsuit, length of hair, size of hooters, bounce of butt, etc.
