The doc "How Do You Mend a Broken Heart" on HBO is one of the best ever and sent me down the SNF soundtrack on NYE. The story of how all that came about and Robert Stigwood's unrelenting belief in the BeeGees is a great story. I didn't realize the roller coaster that'd been on most of their lives. SNF kept them from getting dumped by their label.

Saw this morning that Barry and Dolly have done a duet of "Words" and what I heard sounded great. It's part of the BeeGee's Songbook coming out next week. I am much more of a fan after watching that doc.
 
Good morning Pops and fellow 2021ers, I don't feel any different and I thought I would. However, the trend is looking pretty good as I haven't complained about the weather yet.

Now, I must decide about undecorating and just how long can I leave my new fiber optic tree up without being considered eccentric and people wondering 'is anybody watching that man'? I felt the need to spruce up the place for the holidays and ordered this baby from Hammacher-Schlemmer, although I don't know which of them boxed this up and sent it to me but it's pretty cool in a non-traditional sense, which is my 7th Sense. Did you catch that little "spruce' gift in that sentence, just can't help myself. I see a word and think 'where can I use that and get just a little more out of it'.

Well, enjoy being smack dab in the middle of a 4 day weekend and you should be well rested for the first Monday of 2021 and remember President's Day is only 6 weeks away, unless your company doesn't recognize that day, then we'll have to speak in terms of months about Memorial Day, the official beginning of grilling season for the Northerners, bless their hearts.

"4 day weekend"??? I've been robbed! I'm not gonna be able to wait until Memorial Day, so vacation days will be used, which is okay, because I get 20 of them, plus 6 personal days. I try not to use the p-days though, because they pay us back for them, so it's like getting a free paycheck at the beginning of the next year. I accidentally used one this year (or they accidentally marked it as a p-day, rather than a v-day) so I won't be getting that 6th day, which would be kinda like a few hours of OT, when I wasn't even working. Actually, I wasn't doing anything because that time didn't even exist..........Uh oh, I'm climbing too deep inside my head now. Gotta go.

HBO had a great show on the BEE GEE's and the ups and the downs after Disco.

Every time I see this clip or the one of Travolta walking down the street, I think it is time to STRUT! You have visualize me in a house coat outside with the cats just doing a Travolta. Sight to behold... occasionally, I catch my wife peering through a window and just shaking her head. Life is good.
