You're always good company to us! But I get that sometimes it's better to think about something else.
Yeah, we used to do so much as a family… even simple things like gathering for occasions like cookouts on 7/4, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners etc… Nobody does anything anymore. Literally spend every day alone and now with us working remote A LOT because we have a sewage leak at the office, I don’t even have coworkers to visit with. The kicker there is that I DON’T EVEN LIKE MOST OF THEM :muttley:.

It’s just so hard being. so alone all the time. You would’ve thought my brother passing this year would’ve shaken everybody up and gotten our attention, but it most definitely did not. Life is full of ironies, eh?

Family is a tough nut to crack!

I love my family, and we all get along very well, doing all the things you mentioned. I'm fine with being alone - in fact, I like living alone - but if my family didn't get along, I'd probably be miserable.

I have cousins who don't speak to each other. I just don't understand it. They're all good people, but they just can't see each other without fighting over something stupid.

Luckily, I don't have to deal with that. I hope you can get your family back soon. Maybe they're all just waiting for someone to make sense of it for them?

Luckily, I don't have to deal with that. I hope you can get your family back soon. Maybe they're all just waiting for someone to make sense of it for them? Idk.

On this day, I held in my hand the perfectly folded fitted sheet. I wasn't the one that folded it, I'd just bought a brand new set of sheets and that fitted one was a thing of beauty. It will never know perfection again.

I forgot to add that Dallas Cowboy chicken nuggets are a thing now., :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: Can now be on someone's plate.

I've watched tutorials on the best way to fold a fitted sheet. After 10 minutes, I just roll it up in a ball.

So we have that in common...Whatcha wearin'?;)
Sweats... typical attire in the early Winter morning.

Good Morning, Pops, CC and Cowboy Fans everywhere.

Our (or more correctly, my wife's) annual Christmas party is this Saturday. She literally plans this themed event all year. This year's theme is "Christmas Disco". No idea what that means as I am on a Need-to-Know basis and the only thing I know is she bought me a cheesy mullet wig along with a burn-your-eyeballs shiny disco shirt. We expect about 20-25 people and my job is to grill... sausages, wings, etc. Did I mention that the temperatures are expected to be in the teens with snow. Somehow, standing on our patio grilling in that weather seems to be somewhat better than being in the house making small talk... HA!

What's up in your world?

Oh to be a fly on your (inside) wall. Need-to-Know basis is probably par for the course with you. :muttley: But you are not restricted to small talk, you can either break out the Chuck Norris joke or sing along to all those songs. Don't forget to shake your booty.

Believe it or not, I was working on a disco play list earlier today. I added Disco Queen right after Play That Funky Music. Good stuff. I'm not a purist though, if it's got a good strong beat it goes with the disco. Nothing is safe.

Now that tune will be stuck in my head for the rest of the night. I guess it’s better than the song from lamb chop and that stupid song that never ends. You’re welcome everybody. Enjoy that tune running through your head for the rest of the weekend
