Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any who may stop in later on.

Tuesdays are great days for me. I watch the Little Guy on Tuesdays. It's a little tough with work and all but it's fine. Besides, it's one day closer to the Kick Off of the season so it's all good!

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching and SW, ya'll have a great day!

Buddha once said, "What we think, we become." Be mindful of your thoughts folks. They can turn you into a great person or a Jackwagon!

It's muscular. Been dealing with it for many years. 11 years of furniture delivery didn't help, but what can you do?
Not much in either case. I am still looking for my first person with a successful lower back surgery. Even according to my Internist, the most unsuccessful surgery and most likely to need more.

I've got a massage chair too and that is the best investment I have ever made. Get that going on my lower back for 20-20 minutes and it's remarkably better and mine is disc related.

The other benefit is the calf massaging function and since I bought it and began with Smartwater, magnesium and potassium and the calf massage daily, I haven't had those night time leg cramps that were wrecking my sleep and my life. There's not much pain worse, that I've ever felt, than a full leg cramp in the middle of the night.

My brother was complaining about calf cramps, and how they wake him up in the middle of the night in agony. At 53 years old at the time, I'd never had that happen in my life. Wouldn't you know, within two weeks, I got one....Holy crap, I can't believe how painful it was! You just reach down and start massaging the Hell out of it, hoping it goes away quickly, which fortunately, it did.

I don't have one of those big, fancy, hideously ugly massage recliners, with the calf massagers. I just have a portable doodad that drapes over a chair, but it works pretty well.

I've found that too much sugar causes cramps. I've switched to simply lemon water. Squeeze my own. Or limes. Since I quit the Gatorade, no more cramps.

I actually do have one of those chairs. All the kids call it the space chair. It puts me to sleep in about 5 minutes so the truth is that I can't even use it unless I'm ready to go to sleep. Everybody who comes over sits in it so yeah, it gets used. Funny thing is, in the Garage, where I spend a lot of time, I have a regular old chair with one of the portable doodad's that drapes over, just like you said. Guess what I use all the time?

LOL...... It's funny how life works sometimes RWB.

Once they start, they will come back. The magnesium, potassium and Smartwater and a good self calf massage at bedtime has worked wonders for me because at one time it was nightly and I dreaded going to bed and was conscious of trying to keep my foot flexed up so it wouldn't go into a cramp.

And you wouldn't call it hideously ugly seeing my cute self in it with a Martini and a grin a mortician couldn't erase.

Well fortunately, I haven't had one since then and I think it was brought on by strenuous activity, so fingers crossed!

I'm sure that chair feels amazing, and I've thought about getting one, regardless of appearance, but I'd have to keep it in the basement.....They're so damned ugly! lol

It's a funny story. When the Wife and I decided that it was a good time to downsize, when the last child was a few months from going off to College, we went ahead and made the decision to move. The old house had a lot of wide open spaces and at the time, we had big pieces of furniture. In the new house, it's not small but there just isn't the same room so we had to go out and buy new furniture. While we were there, my Wife saw that chair and she wanted me to buy it. Now, I had admired those chairs for years but never bought one because I thought they were too expensive. She was the one who kinda insisted that we go ahead and get it. Now, I won't deny that it does do a good job on my back when I have issues but yeah, you are right, I often find myself wanting something and if I really look at it and ask myself, do you need that? The answer is often, no.... not really.

Well, if I were married, and my wife insisted.....Okay, I'll get the big, comfy chair.

Not even close. She ended up with a new Yukon. So it's not even like you can say it was like not being able to go fishing. It was more like going from a perfect day of Fishing to spending an Entire weekend at the Mall Shopping.

No wonder she was so gracious about you getting the chair! ;)

Yep, unless you spring for one of the real "space chairs" for about 10K, they're not pretty but then I live alone. If there was a woman involved, it would not be out in my main living room. Hell, I might not be allowed out there.

The one I really wanted looked like something out of the future and looked like part of an egg and had this complete lighting system that was really cool, only when you're in it, you can't see it but everybody else can and I don't have everybody else. I am more about functional, not that I am but I like things to be.
