Morning, Pops and everyone. TGIF for you working folks. I got another injection into the eyeball yesterday to treat my AMD. Have a great day, Y'all.
When I was a teenager I knew a guy that used to tell me "Stick with me kid; I'll have you farting through silk."Stick with us, kid. We'll take good care of youse.
How are we supposed to have a great day, now that we're all imagining a needle in our eye???Morning, Pops and everyone. TGIF for you working folks. I got another injection into the eyeball yesterday to treat my AMD. Have a great day, Y'all.
I was going to say: "It beats a sharp stick in your eye."Morning, Pops and everyone. TGIF for you working folks. I got another injection into the eyeball yesterday to treat my AMD. Have a great day, Y'all.
My Mom had those to keep her eye from going "wet" because the other one had already turned. I was struck by how casual you just mentioned that, just like my Mom did, freaked me out. I think you just made everyone here have a better day. Best of thoughts and wishes for you, Leon. Hoping there's a "dry' eye in your house.Morning, Pops and everyone. TGIF for you working folks. Then this is a fine day for you, my young friend.I've been up since 1:50am. Restless leg syndrome is a real thing. So are the shakes. Combine the two, and well, you're up at 1:50am.
Leon, my prayers for you, and I hope no more injections for your eye. It sounds super painful, sir.
A good morning to you Pops, friends. Picking my son up today. Yay!
"bad boy" Coach? Naughty ain't bad, naughty be fun.Good morning Pops, friends, Trouty's leg, Runny's back, bad boy Coach, ABQ's cobbler addiction, Street the invincible, Boysfan the ready for some football and Leon's eyeball. Yep, Leon's story basically told me today isn't going to be that bad. It's Friday! Let's crank the music up and get the party started.
Oh cool, Trouts! Hope you two have a great weekend!!!I've been up since 1:50am. Restless leg syndrome is a real thing. So are the shakes. Combine the two, and well, you're up at 1:50am.

LMAOI was going to say: "It beats a sharp stick in your eye."
But I really don't think it does.
Not in here ya don't, CC. I think I speak for everyone when I say, we like you just the way are, verbosity and all.Good morning Pops and everyone that didn't have an injection in their eyeball yesterday, how's your day going? Mine picked up pretty quickly and suddenly this "floater" in my left eye wasn't near the bother it was before I came to this thread.
Isn't that just a shame about that part of human nature? We have to hear or see that someone is going through something, and I am sure that made you cringe as it did me, in order to appreciate our circumstances better. I live around a lot of old people and do a lot of "there by the Grace of God go I" thinking and that doesn't necessarily make me feel better about myself. I should not need the discomfort or pain of another to make me feel better and what's worse, and I am consciously working on this, they greet me with a smile before I do them. It doesn't matter many how many years I add to 70, I will always need so much improvement.
