this Lions team might have been worse than that Houston team

and I know our 2006 Cowboys are eons more talented than the 2002 Cowboys were

that team also had Dave Campo as a HC, remember?

embarrassing, pathetic displays of football were to be expected then...they arnt now

David

True.....but the question was most embarrassing. Too let the team become that bad ... well, that was the most embarrassing.

Yes, this team is 10 times more talented......and I am just as mad, disgusted, disapponted as anyone about how this team has gone in the tank this month. However this team is in the playoff and does have a winning record.

Many of us have a good idea how this team can be fixed let's hope it gets done.

How could we not run the ball on Detroit? How?

the same way we could run on Philly, New Orleans or Indy

because our OL play is lousy

The OL can't block and the RB has problems a. seeing holes, b. running to daylight, it's called lack of vision..

The most embarrassing Cowboy Team in my opinion was the 2002 team which lost to the Texans.
The only reason I would say this team is because that team didn't have a HOF coach, a top notch WR, tons of #1 picks on the defense, and a play off berth. That team was had a nobody coach and a team full of Jerry Jones draft picks.:D oops, did Parcells coach that team? I'm lost! Never mind,

No losing to the Texans in their 1st game ever played is still the worse performance Dallas has ever done in play

But you have to admit that if they beat Seattle and compete in the game after that, the season won't be a complete failure. Sure these things seem unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Saying this is most embarrassing team in history is very premature.

Craziness.

This is the most devastating and embarassing loss in team history!

I will be 45 years old this year and I've been the world's biggest Cowboy fan since I've been old enough to know that football actually exists (since I was about 8 or so). To me, this team is the most embarrassing Dallas team during my lifetime. I actually had more respect for our 1989 1-15 team. At least they had an excuse of not having any talent. This team is the most ill-prepared team in history and it plays with absolutely zero enthusiasm.

We have NO running game. The QB that we all throught to be our savior is never going to be anything more than an average QB. He makes poor decisions and does not realize the situations he is in. Lately he looks no better than Bledsoe and he's making the same mistakes Bledsoe always made. Our defense may be the worst in the entire NFL right now. We make every QB we play look like Joe Montana. We have players that continually talk and not show up on the field. This past week Newman spouted off about walking the walk, but he got toasted over and over and over today.

The coaching staff has to go and we have to start from scratch. This season has turned into worse than a disaster. I wish we did not have to play another game because we will get annihilated. Maybe that will be a good thing if we get embarrassed in the playoffs. At least maybe many changes will be made. I'm through with this team for the year. Four weeks ago we set at 8-4 with a two game division lead and 3 of our last 4 at home (including lowly Detroit). Well, threee home losses later we are what we are. Right now we're among the worst NFL defenses in history. We had 5 sacks today and we still got toasted in the air. That shows that not only is our front 7 terrible, our secondary couldn't cover my 14 year old daughter. Botton line: I'm just disgusted.

Actually I am still feeling bitter from the egg we laid in front of the home folks(I know we scored 7) last week for the Division. But to say this is the most embarrassing loss ever is a bit much.

Both of you make good points....but the 2002, no matter whose fault it was, was a joke. This team, for several reasons, has become very below average esp. for a playoff team.

I've been watching for 41 years.

This team ranks right up there with the most embarrassing. In fact, it may very well be.

Ya see, for me, it's about expectations.

The 1-15 team meant nothing. We all knew what that was about. The team was torn down to be rebuilt.

The Campo years were bad...but we all knew what to expect then too. And ya know, I don't remember Campo teams quitting. Bad as they were.

The embarrassment about this team comes from the lack of effort and not having the balls to close out the deal.

Three years under Parcells we had good to very good starts after 8-10 games...three years under Parcells the team couldn't step up and faded in December.

For me, that's damn embarrassing.

I've been watching for 31 years and you're spot on!

36 years here......One of the most flat, no heart teams ever!

I'll argue about the Romo bashing. He is light years better than Bledsoe. You can't expect him to be perfect. This is only his 10th game

Let's be reasonable about the years here.

If you're 36 you haven't been watching for 36 years.

I'm 40 and have been watching since I was 9...Hence 31 years.
