he needs to fire the agent btw
It is a slippery slope he has Lawrence on with most mad at him but it is within the rules as set forth by the CBA. Lawrence is in that area where few get but the injury needed attention exacerbate the entire situation. And I do blame Lawrence for making it look like he's using that as leverage, that is not going to sit well with the fans.
He's is danger of going from that warrior that got the fans in his corner to the ultimate merc and the danger is if he gets the deal and isn't producing, I think we are going to hear boos that haven't been heard in that stadium yet. Most fans understand they have to play the game but we expect them to play our game as well.
Lawrence my find himself in Hardy territory. Those against his signing and on the fence were just waiting to get onto him but he made some plays and it, temporarily, changed to "he's not so bad", "he could be innocent" and "hell, I'd hit her too".
I once negotiated a new contract for myself and used the fact I had them over a barrel and got exactly what I wanted. Really proud of myself until I saw the change in expectations that brought from my boss. Lawrence is going to get the same, fans won't want the old Lawrence, they will be expecting the new and improved Lawrence and as dominant as Mack, Miller and Arnold. Getting their money, you better be as good.
