They supposedly swapped places with MIA and went from 13 to 8 with the Maxwell/Browner trade.

That's simply a rumor at this point.

But if they really got a third for Murray and swapped firsts with Miami, that's quite a day by their front office.

I guess this gives Tennessee double the reason to draft Tunsil.

That was given in looking at at Marriotta's tooth pick like frame. Remember the beat down Ohio St gave him.

They also lost 3 starters that they have to replace. Getting something back only shows that the players they lost still have name value if not actual value.

If the Eagles really got a 3rd for Murray and swapped 1sts with Miami, I'm going to be sick.

Who the hell makes those trades? How are teams letting the Eagles do that to them?

Eagles trying to erase Chips mistakes unless it's Bradford. Seems like panic moves to me.

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports...ade_3_disappointments_tied_to_Chip_Kelly.html

Maxwell and Murray also had to agree to restructure their contracts, and the draft-pick compensation won't be especially significant, but the Eagles cleared about $10 million from their salary cap.

They still have to eat about $9 million in dead money, but now they have approximately $26 million in cap space heading into the start of free agency on Wednesday. The trades will become official at 4 p.m. that day.

Only 9 million dead from these two players seems small. What happened to Murray's 21 guaranteed.

Murray only had a 5m signing bonus and Maxwell's was only 6m. PHI doesn't give big signing bonuses but pays large base salaries.

They reported they renegotiated away some of the other guarantees to later years.

I'm shocked at these responses.

Mariota is the real deal.

He is standing behind a line that drafted two o-linemen in the j1st round the previous two years. .

His WR is a 1st round pick, his TE is a Pro Bowler.

Now he gets a RB that led the league two seasons ago. Murray is an excellent blocker, he is a solid receiver, in fact, the Cowboys 3rd leading receiver during his four years in Dallas.

The Titans aren't going to screw around with Murray, they aren't going to make the same mistakes as the Eagles. They are going to put him comfortably in their system and they are going to feature him.

Murray will be Mariota's insurance policy, the same way Aikman used his RB's.

It was a great move for the Titans and there are too many smug comments for me not to copy and save on this thread......some of you guys got impressive stones with your confidence. We will see, I guess.

Ehhh......having a mobile quarterback like Mariotta will open up some things for him.

And do we know exactly what was offered to Murray? There were reports of 4/16 million.

Not a bad contract. He's seeing how bad it wasn't, right about now.

The Titans reportedly gave up a conditional 6th rounder and also reworked Murray's contract

It was no.secret that the Eagles tried to.move up last year for a QB. Perhaps they have targeted the Chargers as a trade partner to get ahead of Dallas. That could.be the reason for Jerry claiming we won't use the 4th on a QB. Saves face instead of hearing for the next decade that the Eagles stole a franchise QB from us.

He did what 100% of the rest of the people this country would do when they feel they deserve a raise lol.

Sorry but if I played for Dallas no other team could get me to leave. Don't care how much more money they offer. So please don't say 100 percent because not everybody is the same
