My eye test on Trey and what he brings that Dak doesn't

Prescott went down for 5 games last season and the same team that you claim was non existent around Prescott went 4-1 with practice squad QB Cooper Rush.
The Defense carried the team to those wins. Last season's schedule was a lot easier than this season's. There will be no room for error from a backup QB if Dak were to miss time with injury.

Deflect all you want but you showed yourself to be all about Dak by blasting a poster that said nothing wrong and even said he liked Dak....but you can't help but fire and forget at anyone that dares not cheer for Dak like you do.
At this point with what the Cowboys have at backup against a much harder schedule, you would literally have to be against the Cowboys if you want Dak to miss time due to whatever reason.

Did your eye test notice lance has one college season for experience? Natural ability and mechanics were on display?

Just because you infer people want Dak to get injured does not make it true but alas here you are making false claims as you always do because you project your BS on everyone that does not think like you.

That said, if the defense carried Rush as you say then they carried Dak as well.

he is against the cowboys. MC has already said he hopes the cowboys lose with Dak at QB. he is not hiding his disdaing for cowboys any longer.

this salvation army vet is close. he just doesn't have the balls to come out and say it, so he just dances around.

he is a troll.

the good news is that he will disappear when cowboys win the first game. guaranteed.

I guess the details are lost on you, because details don't matter.

first, it sounds like you attribute wins/losses to be a QB stat. is that correct?

secondly, the defense gave up 13.5 pointe per game in that stretch....3 points better than any team for the season. that's almost ravensque. not only that they also scored. got 6 trnovers and provided short field to the offense.

in the meantime Rush led the 22nd ranked offense or worse in almost every statistical category.

so yeah, excuse me if I don't have a Rush Crush like some of ya'll

No, there is nothing wrong with Dak mentally. The guy simply had no team around him all of last season.

The Defense carried the team to those wins. Last season's schedule was a lot easier than this season's. There will be no room for error from a backup QB if Dak were to miss time with injury.
So he has no team but the defense carried a 2nd string qb to 5 wins?

I know, I know, another Trey Lance thread, but hear me out. I spent an hour looking over his play from his rookie season to current pre season action and I came away with a few things that separate him from Dak. Of course Dak is more advanced at this point but I saw a few things that Trey had that Dak lacks..

#1. His ability to naturally step up in pocket instinctively to avoid the edge rushers and make positive plays either with his arm or feet. This is something that Dak is horrible at in my opinion and it's an exercise in frustration for me to watch.

#2. His release is much much quicker and his arm is way stronger. Yes, I know, he has a wonky side arm release that needs work but at times this funky mechanic gets the ball around edge rushers for positive plays so I will leave that up your eyes on that one..

I've always been a Dak fan, and not under some false pretentious that Lance is going to take Dak's job but I seriously see some very good intangibles with this young man and can see why we traded for him... If Fat Mike's Qb school can iron out some of these wrinkles we very well might have a nice starting QB in a few years for the cost of a 4th rounder.
As a founding member of the Dak fan club, I have no issue with anything written here.

I also did the same deep dive on this kid and came away with similar analysis.

All indications are this is a good kid, who works hard and is apparently a good leader. Throw in his rocket arm and + athleticism and you have the ideal developmental qb.

I am all for this kid developing and pushing Dak as early as next year.

i think at the time people liked him bringing that avg 13.5 points vs the 3 whole points we got in the opener. (dont shoot me just sayin)

That is the dizzying circle j-rk he and a few others do daily. They blast any QB not named Dak by claiming the defense carried the team but then cry and say Dak had no team around him. Their logic is flawed by their overly emotional investment into Dak.

I don't know. the truth will slowly come out.

which then puts Lance in another tough situation. 9ers Gm wanted him, coach didn't. now Cowboys GM wanted him, coach had no idea.
Where are you getting your information? I can't believe that MM didn't have a say in this decision, After all, he is the head coach. I can see Greer getting the axe but Lance is going to be the #3 qb. Unless everyone else is injured, he won't see the field. SF didn't need him any more. They cut bait and moved on. That's how I see it. jmho
