Right now it does seem like if Dallas has to play a good team on the road, a loss is predictable. They play Miami on the road and on grass so it seems like they should absolutely lose. But just when you think you have the Cowboys figured out, they do something unexpected. So who knows.

What I think is the Bills were more ready for the Cowboys last week than the Cowboys were for the Bills. I have no idea what to expect this week from Dallas. But if they lose, they should start thinking about the playoffs and next season.

Ninety (90) minutes before the Buffalo game, I stated that we would have a terrible day passing and lose. Death, taxes, and the following.....when we are (take your pick) on the road, playing an above average team with a rabid crowd, or in bad weather....we struggle throwing the ball. We see it every time any of these scenarios are present....WR's are stuck at the line of scrimmage, they get ZERO separation and cannot get open, routes are all run within 6-7 yards of the line of scrimmage. Dak moves and thinks slow, makes poor decisions, holds the ball too long and takes sacks, puts the WR's at risk making them contort and reach for his poorly thrown balls.. Sooooooo.....is this the fault of MM, Dak, or the WR's? Because it's ONE OR ALL OF THE THREE (3)!!! I do know one thing for certain....we cannot afford to extend and pay 60M per to a QB that has to have EVERYTHING perfect to succeed.
Don't forget Dak sweating "like a pig" on his first drive...

Surprised no mention of defensive play...especially the run defense in your post.
Well, he said in the headline that he was talking about the offense.
Was up-front and honest about it.

Here's the difference between Romo and his followers.

Romo feels blessed and privileged to have been the QB of the Cowboys for as long as he was. Some minor regrets, I'm sure.

Meanwhile, his obnoxious followers, and they all aren't this way, whine and cry and hate Dak because Romo wasn't allowed to return. I am reasonably sure Romo despises those who act that way because he is a class act.
I loved watching Romo and am a huge fan even still but you could tell it was time to pass the torch and we had Dak ready to go.

The Country Club Cowboys are broken! Trash defense and trash QB with a bunch of divas as WRs who get mauled and can't get any separation in a physical game. Pollard is going in the trash too. Get a freaking real RB that isn't a converted WR. Fat coach can go too! How you gonna lead by example when you are out of shape.

A 2-4 playoff record.....just like Rayne Dakota

Dakota should get another playoff win against yet another abysmal NFC south team again just like last year..... maybe this one will actually have a winning record.
that was my point. why tout romo if the complaint is Dak is underachieving?

I would say he was quite efficient in run blocking. Pass I would say good on most plays but there were a few plays that he & his mates (Biad & Steele) messed up.

To be honest though, the line performed just as well or better than when Zack was in there. He moves people better than Zack. Thus, why I would say the game didn't change for the worse just because he was your RG.
we also provided max protection on many pass plays, having less WRs in route, a lot of times with only 2 WR running routes against, 4, 5 man pass defense. their pass rush got to us with less pass protection.

That is the real reason for your animus and this post. He is not Romo. There is nothing that Dak can do, to change your mind. The more successful the team, the more you attack. Why don't you write a "Dear Romo" letter and see if he is willing to come back.
I never once indicated loving Romo...but I do know that he didn't make our WR's "work" for the ball and risk life and limb. Real GM's can think on the fly.....Booger gets scared and keeps rolling the same old *%^& out every year....this is year EIGHT for Dak....maybe a Tampa Bay loss will bring Booge and Chuckles around to reality....but i doubt it.

NOBODY is touting Romo....I wasn't anyway....forget that I mentioned his name. My point is that Dak is neither smart or accurate....and neither can suddenly be learned at age 30.

Don't worry.

Make no mistake about it we have the best QB in the nfl and we will win the Super Bowl
One game does not define them
They will go back, watch some tape, and get better
Dak will be better, he has to get better, he will get better

When he was on the verge of doing something his health declined. Put some respect on his name. Romo gave it up and without him football around here might have been basement dwelling for the ages.
It was sad to see him declining before he had all the pieces in place for a SB run. Romo was such an improvement at QB at that time.

Dak has been one of the very best QBs in the league this year.

What's it like spending so much time and energy on a sport you're not bright enough to comprehend? Seems embarrassing.

I think we went 8-0 on the road in 2014. Lost on the road to the Packers in the playoffs. But that's what happens when you turn the ball over in a critical situation to a good team.
Back when we could impose our will in the running game.

That probably helps.

Maybe some, but there are also those that glorify Romo and hate on Dak which I'll never fully understand.
Why glorify Dak when he's basically Romo 2.0? The only difference is Romo had his stupid celebrity status infatuation.
