I disagree. It's only williams 2nd year. Everyone has a sophomore slump. He's not a 1 but I think he can be a 2. Still developing.

I only see him as a outside guy in multiple WRs sets. Dissappears way too much for me. We can get by with him, but we can definitely upgrade too

I don't know if some of these guys were around to see our 90's SB winners but Willimas is better than Harper, Witten much better than Novacek, and I venture to say that Beasley is better than any 3rd WR we had back then.

Williams is definitely not better then Harper

I agree. I'm not spending a 1st on one. I wanted jordon matthews on the 2nd. I like algohor and Lockett this yeat. Both will make harris dispensable

Im taking one in the first if the value is good enough. Say a guy they rate as a top 15 talent. Make a decent position into a juggernaut. A team loaded at WR presents matchup nightmares. On top of that I wouldn't mind adding a player who be a go to guy if Bryant goes down for an extended period of time.

WR wouldnt be my first choice in the first, but I wouldnt be shy about taking a top 15 talent at WR if my board went that way. OG wasnt our biggest need in this draft, and both our 2012 guards and our line as a whole had strong years with a GB lineman even calling us the best ZB blocking team in the NFL. But we picked Martin anyways and it was the right pick

That's the thing. After cooper I don't care for any of the other guys. I like white and parker but I don't think they are great or should be top 20 picks. I don't think they are much better than Strong or Agholor.

Don't get me wrong if we're sitting at 27 to 32 and WR is BPA by a large margin then by all means take the better player.

Thats why its hard to call this early. Its hard to tell what these guys value is. Many times Ive seen WRs considered first rounders this time of the year go undrafted ( D'Rick Rodgers, they OSU guy that came before Dez whose name I cant remember).

I like White, Parker and Strong. All 3 could grade out as mid firsts. I like Green Beckham the most as a player, but want no part of him. I pretty much see Justin Blackmon production from him if you what I mean. I want to like the Auburn, but Im distrustful of judging WRs that play alongside other elite WRs in college.

Harper had 46 catches in his best year. Williams had 44 last year. Harper had 8 TD's in his best season. Williams has 8 this year.

Revisionist history because of the Super Bowls and because he was a first rounder. 21 TD's in Harper's career is pathetic.

Your comparing stats from two different era. Its much easier now to get 45 catchs now then it was in 1993. 50 catchs for 800 yards were very good numbers for a #2 WR back then. Nowadays #3 WRs are getting 60 catchs regularly

I agree. That's like the way i discredit qbs who are throwing to NFL WRs or RBS running behind d NFL OLine in college. I also discredit defensive players who are on loaded teams.

I usually will drop a player because they play on bama, lsu, or fsu. It's hard to see how good a player really is when they have real good players around them.

Where besides Madden are the Cowboys running that type of system?

So you think Dez should catch 100, #2 WR should catch 80, #3 should catch 60 and Witten should catch how many?

Please go on record.

Maybe 60 for a #3 was a bit Madden of me, but how about having a starting WR that has more than 9 catches in the last 7 games

As if I tucked tail and ran.

Like I said go on record. How many catches should Dez, TW, Witten and Beasley have?

I think the fall off of williams was more the offense changing to help romo. Before the Commanders game williams was great. After he fell off. Romo started getting the ball out faster and throwing to beasley and Witten more. Look at the catches from witten and beasley before and after romo back injury.

I agree williams isn't a 1 and if Dez went down we don't have a true 1 but williams is a good 2 that is still developing.

Dez should have 85 to 95. Williams should have 60. Witten should have about 55 and Beasley 40

Is there another team that has a player like dez and TE like Witten where the 2 wr and slot WR get a that many touches that runs as much as we do.

We hand the ball off way to many times for that.

I think williams should have more than 34 but 60 pkus is alot for this offense when witten has over 60 too

No because those are rational expectations and Williams would be close if he had more then 9 catches in the last 7 games

It's rational to think Witten and Murray should have fewer touches so Willams and Beasley can have more?
