I don't think Dez is selfish. He's genuinely happy for his teammates when they produce at the expense of his own production. I think he's just historically stupid. He responds poorly to any sign of adversity.

Great point on Romo folding under pressure and just curling up and eating sacks..

These are some of the negative plays that don't happy under Dak..Dak can't make all of the extraordinary plays Romo can..not even close..but he keeps the team ahead of schedule by not taking negative plays

I think romo will take his spot back but it will be short lived because I just don't think he can withstand NFL hits anymore.
I wish that wasn't the case because he still has the talent to do quite a bit in this league but the end is near. I'd prefer to see him stop now just so his quality of life is good after football. Had a great run.

This is where I am at. It's not that Bryant is selfish, it's that he's unintelligent and easily excitable. If anything that reflects more on maturity. I give him the benefit of the doubt most of the time because of the sideline incident when it was reported he was yelling and berating teammates but in reality he was cheering them on.

You might very well be correct about that and I think we'll eventually find out for sure if Romo is able to withstand the NFL hits or not. The games that he'll likely return to will be tough ones to endure. If it's the Eagles that oppose us when he returns, their pass rush will be such that he'll be tested about as much as any QB could be. Beyond that, there'll be games with Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Minnesota that would challenge the best and most durable of any QBs in the NFL.

I'm elated, knowing that we now have two QBs that any team should rightfully be proud of. In the games that lie ahead, both Dak and Romo will be subjected to some games that will likely test them to their limits. May both do exceptionally well. If so, we'll all surely be as happy as pigs in poop.

Agreed Dez is the ultimate team player, he loves the game and his team. You see the guy on the sideline firing up his team.

Technically, if Dez was the "ultimate" team player, he'd show up for all his meetings and team functions on time.

That's what an "ultimate" team player does. He plays great and he plays by the rules set forth by the team to show an example to other players.

NOTE: For the Dez lovers, I am not suggesting you cut him or anything like that. But it is what it is. Bryant does what he wants when he wants to do it.

You're in for both extreme disappointment and a rude awakening if you think there is ANY shot Romo sits on the bench when he is healthy. Does not matter if Dak wins out till Romos return, he is starting when he is available. And that is the way it should be.
I've got news for you sparky, Romo already is sitting on the bench when he is healthy. Oh, did you buy that BS about that hit he took in the slide hurting his back? He got scared and chickened out like the scared old man he is. The game has passed him by and he knows it. The organization is selling the hurt Romo story to save face. Romo still has a solid fan base, this makes the transition easier for all to swallow. Dak is the future... and the future is here now.

Good post

Great win
Dak is the future but Romo starts when fully healthy. No need to rush him
Let's see how Dak does with the next 2 games
Dez is way overrated and overpaid

I disagree about the defense, this defense is absolutely putrid. Against ANY playoff team we have almost no chance. NONE. this is a C grade defense and Mo is not a shut down corner. Please please please don't ever say that again. That pick yesterday was completely on the QB when Mo was already beat
