You gotta be real clear around here, if not some Einsteins start taking your posts and twisting them around.
Only if we hold hands and sing Kum Ba Yah.Can't we all just get along.
But, how can we hold our drinks if we're holding hands???Only if we hold hands and sing Kum Ba Yah.
There was a restaurant back in the 60's in NW Dallas called the Bounty that had the solution. They sold schooners of a yard of beer that sat on the floor and you drank 'em with a straw. Problem solved. But, how can we hold our drinks if we're holding hands???
Anthony brown actually played well until the 2 penalties. The holding and the PI. I don't want him to dial down his aggression but he needs to find ways to avoid the PI's
The hold was iffy, especially since the LA db held Hurns way more than that earlier. But the problem with AB is he generally plays good coverage, but plays the ball poorly (dropped INTs, pass interference because he loses the ball, etc.). Last night was a bad night for him if for no other reason than whatever good he's done in TC, which had to help his confidence, was probably undone last night. The hold was a ticky tack call. The PI was good coverage, but he played the ball poorly.
Maybe if the corner doesn't "lose it in the sunlight" Dak doesn't throw it. Gallop had a few yards on him and was open so Dak made the throw. If Gallop is covered then perhaps Dak goes to his next read. You are looking only at the result which WAS a thing of beauty. If not for the DBs "hitch" it really could have been problematic. I'm just saying what I saw.
Look I want to be all aboard on the Dak train and on Gallup's band wagon, but it is what it is.
It was a touchdown. That's great. It shows promise.
Dak doesn't really look all that comfortable yet. That should settle back down. It's really early on in the season. The guys behind Dak are sure not near ready yet, so we had better hope Dak has a great year.
So you're just going to ignore the part where Ward stopped for no reason and that's what gave Gallup the separation? Gallup could be great but lets keep it real about that td.There really wasnt much to view on the core players who will be the impact of this team. But this is what im thinking.
Dak and Gallup are going to cause alot of problems for opposing teams. That TD pass was picture perfect. That wasnt no scrub covering either. I had to watch on the the niners channel and the announcers were saying Ward lost the ball in the sun, but asnt Gallup looking into the same sun? lol
Connor Williams got beat early pretty bad by Buckner for a sack but he settled down and looked solid.
Again ill say this, I can understand why the team drafted Vander Esch with the health history of Lee and Jaylon's rehab going over a yr. But if only they would've waited a little longer. Jaylon is back 100%. He is flying around and is playing with power. He's going to be a difference maker this yr. I dont see the middle run def being a issue this yr with him there.
Safety is a problem. This team needs Earl Thomas, and i hope they can see it. Give SEA that conditional 4th that turns into a 3rd. You get one of the best s' in the NFL. With Lawrence on the DL, Lee in the middle and Thomas on the backend there would be a leader on every level of the defense. Having that alpha who leads by example on the field is much more important iMO than sheer talent. You can have all the talent in the world but if ur not sure on what to do its pointless.
Anthony Brown? I see nothing different than what he's shown every sunday. He cant cover, and he def cant cover in the slot. He will get eaten alive by faster WR's in the slot. He is a outside guy.
And my final thought is, If lastnights game was a real game, Dallas destroys the niners and brings Garoppolo back to earth.
Gonna enjoy this yr with the entitled sent packing and a team full of young guys who are hungry and some fighting to start.
But he didn't. And since we are using ifs......... If the DB is in better position perhaps Dak throws the ball different or maybe goes to another read. Seriously I can't believe people are complaining about a perfect TD pass and have to get into ifs to try and put Dak down. Call it like it was, a very nice TD pass for 30 yards. End of story, making up all these ifs and buts is silly.No. It's not nitpicking. If the DB performs his normal function, it's probably a pick.
Doesn't matter how you got open, Gallop got open. He did it many other times in the game as well or did the DB just stop for no reason in those as well. DB didn't just stop for no reason, Gallop worked him and that's why he stopped. Let's get real, it was a perfect 30 yard TD pass that proved the haters wrong again. So you're just going to ignore the part where Ward stopped for no reason and that's what gave Gallup the separation? Gallup could be great but lets keep it real about that td.
I could've been clearer when I was saying my point exactly. What I was agreeing with was that the pass was short and, had the db not misplayed it, it wouldn't have been a TD. But I would venture to say that probably 50%, if that many, of the deep passes thrown are perfect across the league. Hell, Eli won his first Super Bowl because of a very imperfect pass. On the flip side, Joe Flacco threw a perfect pass against Denver in the playoffs that resulted in game tying TD only because the DB completely misplayed it. Bottom line, it doesn't have to be perfect to be successful.
I think LVE helps with Lee's longevity. Jaylen can all 3 LB spots, and should be able to play Will at a high level. With LVE we can keep all three LB's fresh and lessen the likelihood of injuriesThere really wasnt much to view on the core players who will be the impact of this team. But this is what im thinking.

That's right. I'm not saying Dak sucks. Lol. I'm saying the pass was short. And it was.
Short by what? A foot? Maybe 2? It hit Gallop about the belly button instead of shoulder high. That's just crazy, and completely irrational, to expect a QB to hit a spot on a dime with a throw that travels 38 yards in the air and that he has to lay out 15 yards ahead of where the receiver is at the time the ball is released. By football standards if a receiver doesn't have to slow down or come back for a pass it is not under thrown. Saying otherwise is setting a standard for Dak that doesn't apply to any other QB in the NFL.
And think about it - so what if the DB ended up handling the ball better and batted it away? It's not as if it doesn't happen. The best QB's in history have passes knocked down by the defense, even sometimes with throws on target. It's the NFL. There are good players on both sides of the ball. A throw can be right on target and still not be successful because the defense made a good play.
You don't think the WR had anything to do with where the ball hit him? Lol. Man you guys are something else.

You guys need to find some sort of safe room. Seriously. To get that upset over someone saying the ball wasn't the best pass in the world. Lol. I don't get it, but carry on my friend.
The pass to Gallup was short. If the db hadn't of got lost it would have been a pick. Should have led him and not placed it at his hip. I'm rooting for them but I'm not wearing my rose colored glasses this morning.
