I love the reemergence of the big man, Jokic, Embiid, KAT, Gobert, Giannis, AD, and now Chet and Wemby and even the occasional Bol Bol sighting.......

As a Spurs fan, I've watched almost every game and have thoroughly enjoyed watching Wemby play. As much hype that was around him, it's crazy to say that not only has he lived up to the hype, but is exceeding it. He keeps doing things I've never seen a player of his size ever do and he's just scratching the surface, he's either breaking records or putting up stat lines haven't seen seen since the likes of Robinson, Shaq, Kareem, Hakeem etc.
I still have no idea why people thought Chet was the ROY, or why Wemby was snubbed for the All-Star. Must be because he plays on a small market team. It’s like, dude did you even watch any of his games? He really is a freaking alien. Like they all thought, he was going to be a Hall of Famer in week one, and aren’t letting him develop, even though he starts the league at age 19! Unbelievable hype for Kobe Bryant, or LeBron James at that age, but I guess Wemby and his French style aren’t gangster enough.

It really has nothing to do with Wemby's style, good players on good teams get the nod over good players on bad teams.

If you look at the other front court players out west, who should Wemby have made it over? Jokic, Lebron or KD? No. AD or KAT...nope...AD is having a better year across the board. KAT if you're selectively looking at stats you could make the argument, but the Wolves having the best record out west is gonna get him the nod regardless.

Kawhi and George while they're technically all front court players, aren't competing with Wemby for a spot, but even then I'd say their team record makes it an easy choice

With all that being said, you'll probably have the next 15 All Star games to enjoy watching him because it's obvious that he's that good. Just a lot of competition out west

There is no rational answer amigo, just being a Spurs Homer.

Mavs vs. Spurs tonight in San Antonio.

Kings are currently 1/2 game ahead of both Mavs and Suns in 6th place. Mavs have second easiest remaining schedule in the entire NBA, but they do play @Kings back to back so it's going to be a close race for 6th. Suns have a brutal schedule and so I think it's going to be either Mavs and Kings one gets 6th the other 7th play in.

Wemby's backup is injured. Might get a lot of minutes tonight even coming off OT game.

I think Mavs get to 6th easily TBH.
Even in a split of the Kings game.

Schedule is really easy and it is no contest as to who is playing better.
Kings have to cram 2 additional games into the final kick than Dallas.
NOP is playing too well to catch them for 5th IMO.

Minny 3 vs Dallas 6 round 1 is my best guess.

Young Spurs are playing really hard but that high draft pick is going to look great next to Wemby.
Pop sticking around for the rebuild was huge.

Big win for the Nuggets last night to end their road trip. MPJ hit some big shots down the stretch to seal the victory.

They have the easiest schedule left in the West, so hopefully they can finish strong and get that #1 seed.

I'm not under any notion that the Knicks can beat the Celtics, but I really hope we get a chance to see a fully healthy Knicks team in the playoffs. If so, I don't care who we play

Big win for Denver last night on the road without Jokic or Murray. Now they just need the Bucks to beat OKC.

Anyone catch Wemby‘s MVP game against Knicks? First rookie since Shaq to score 40 and 20 boards. Oh yeah, he also had 7 assists and the game winning 3 pointer in OT to put it out of reach. Don’t look now, Spurs were 7-8 last month. Wemby starting to carry the team now like all legendary big men. This guy is built to win now, it’s a shame. The Spurs still have crap with all these high draft picks lately, but they need to figure it out quickly. Don’t do something like the rumor they may get D’Angelo Russell. Could build another dynasty if they build this right. No pressure RC.

OKC had a better showing than the score indicated last night. Minus SGA and Williams they hung around until the 4th. Porzingis rooked Holmgren though

If you are a fan of fun offseasons, you are rooting for Boston to win it all with no game 7's. I think that puts the tops in a spot to wear they need to make moves. Boston falling short, or getting pushed to a game 7 somewhere, and top teams will feel they have enough on hand

Knicks played a great game in Boston today and won. Jalen Brunson is playing out of his mind. Do you think Knicks can knock out Celtics and reach to NBA Finals? I really doubt it but I am giddy at the same time.

Probably not in a 7 game series. However, NY is a team with capital to make a big move up in the offseason. They can add a max without touching their current top 3

Who do you think Knicks should add as Max player?
