Do you think there is probable cause to arrest Zimmerman?

i think if there was he would have been.

what about arresting the black kids who lit a white kid on fire.

why do you dismiss that?

i don't argue a single case. i look to the whole.

And you think Zimmerman was being honest?

I'd like to see the domestic violence police report. I can imagine his utter honesty, "I was yelling for someone to help, but she kept beating me, and no one would help me, so I beat her..."

It doesn't bother you he's a coward through and through?

Who said I dismissed it?

To me, that still isn't about race. None of this is.

That's human on human crime. And they should be arrested and tried if there was enough probable cause (again, a very low burden of proof). No doubt. Why would you think I'd defend that?

No politics, you two. No one in this thread cares where you fall in the political spectrum, so keep it out of here.

I'll delete it. For the record, I took offense to being called the L word. lol

Did you already delete it?

OK, writing on a locker is on the light end of the spectrum.. child's play. School trouble does not equate legal trouble.

Really? There are 4 Anchorage Police officers based in my nieces HS. They bust kids from pot being in backpacks to destruction of school property. They are taken from class and booked into the McLaughlin Youth center here in town. Wouldn't that be considered legal trouble?

They are police arresting these HS students and these kids are getting records from it.

If that isn't legal trouble, what is it?

Not in my mind, if it is it's minor kid stuff and nothing comparable to beating a woman.

Do you agree?

And what do you think about the fact he's a woman beater?

I am not splitting hairs here. Legal trouble is legal trouble, regardless if its hitting a girl or having pot in school.

You said it's school trouble as if only the school administration is dealing with these kids and I am just stating otherwise. Here in Anchorage, you don't get to have pot in school and your parents called anymore. Nor do you willfully break into lockers and steal things w/o going to the youth detention centers.

Does anyone know what exactly TM do become suspicious of anything, what did GM see for him to think TM was a suspicious of anything?

If that's you're view, all I have to say is wow. Smoking a joint is the same magnitude as beating a woman.

Just wow.

Maybe you ought to mull that over again. Seriously, that's a very telling trait of the views you have.

I can justify hanging out with Herb. But I cannot ever justify being violent towards women. I'm glad you see it all as one-in-the-same though. It really is telling of your views.

LOL. No disrespect, but you're in Alaska. And these things vary from state to state. Again, an irrelevant comparison.

So you agree or disagree that beating a woman is worse than having pot?

You notice one has a violent history, the other was just doing kids stuff and not hurting anyone.

I hope you at least think about it even if you don't write it here. I'm really taken back by this view, especially because it's coming from you. And I don't mean that as an insult. I just thought you would see it differently.

He was wearing a hoodie, I think. Again, good question. I think he had some Arizona tea in his pocket. Perhaps he suspected that was stolen down the street at Circle K?

he was handcuffed. he was put in the back of the cruiser. he was taken to the station, and questioned

Yeah, buddy, it sounds like Trayvon was really manhandling this poor little guy. Poor, poor Zimmerman. I feel so bad for him.

I have no problems with people carrying guns for protection. Not if they are trying to play as Law Enforcement, you don't think that it will create dangerous situations having Non-cops walking around with guns trying to stop crimes, especially violent crimes?

There is a reason that Most Neighborhood watch members are not armed. Unless you want more situations like Trayvon Martin to happen then I don't think that they should carry guns for the purpose of trying to play cop and stop crimes from happening.

Unless a person is directly being attacked then leave the job up to the cops after you have called them. Where did I say that I wanted Gun rights to be completely taken away? We can't have every untrained person walking around with guns trying to play cops because people who are deemed as "Suspicious" but are not doing anything at the time can end up dead.

This was my first thought when I heard about this case. I still can't wrap my head around this guy carrying a gun on NHW. Something stinks. We don't know exactly what yet.

But I don't see anything in the police report other than a cop who said he didn't ask him what happened (which is odd).
