5-0, huh?
or 4-1... either should get us in. We will own the division tiebreakers by sweeping the Skins

Yeah, obviously. We have been losers 8 out of the last 9 times we took the field. You think 5-0 or 4-1 are that likely, considering we couldn't score a touchdown against the Bucs?
I still think it will be Giants and Eagles win and in scenario Week 17.
Eagles and giants will be eliminated before week 17

Cowboys not giving up nor 'playing for draft position' as many negative mindset fans would have us believe.

I don't think any fan wishes for the boys to lose I just don't think this team and coaches from stopping it from happening. This truly the lowpoint of the dallas cowboys franchise the last twenty years have been really bad but this year its just about as bad as it gets reminds me of 89 and there is no really good coach waiting in the wings to get u s out of it . This franchise is mired in losers mentality
I don't understand why people are legitimately mad/upset with 88Irvins optimism. It's as if you want him to be as negative as you are. He's entitled to have his opinion without people scolding him.
He's right to an extent. For some people to be so upset with his positivity makes me wonder how life outside of this forum is treating some people.

What does being upset at homers have to do with being upset with life outside of this forum? Where is the correlation? I see lots of people using this flawed logic and it just doesn't make sense. People get upset with others when they are not being rational. He has a right to be irrational but others have a right to call him out for being irrational, and it has no impact on how they live their lives outside of this forum. Does this make sense?
Why can't you just ignore his posts then? Why do you have to call him out on his optimism? Is that gonna make you feel better because I'm really not getting the logic here of people being upset at some who still have hope and optimism. Just ignore them and move on. No one's making you comment on his thread or posts if his logic is bothering you that much.
Giants remaining schedule 2-3, 7-9 (8-8 at best if they luck out a win over Jets):
L - Jets
W- Dolphins
L - Panthers
L - Vikings
W - Eagles
Commanders remaining schedule 1-4, 6-10 (or if they pull out a win vs. Bears or Bills, 2-3, 7-9):
L - Cowboys
L - Bears
L - Bills
W - Eagles
L - Cowboys
Eagles remaining schedule 0-5, 4-12 (non-factor, even if they luck out 2 wins, they suck):
L - Patriots
L - Bills
L - Cardinals
L - Commanders
L - Giants
Cowboys remaining schedule 4-1 (possibly 5-0), 7-9 / 8-8:
W - Commanders
L - Packers (possibly W, as they are on a 1-4 kick)
W - Jets -
W - Bills
W - Commanders
7-9 tie = we win (with 4-2 division record),
or 8-8 tie = we win (with 4-2 division record)
or 8-8 = win outright
This outcome is VERY feasible and is exactly what Sean Lee and the players are thinking right now.
NEVER Give Up!!
Because he's just not being optimistic, he's also attacking others who are down on this team as not being "true fans" and that we have "loser mentalities" so if you're going to use those kind of terms for people who are being objective, then prepare for backlash for your blind sunshine pumping.
You are famous! Your post has provided some fodder over at the awful Extreme Skins sight (post #51). Their thread is started by celebrating Romo's injury by showing him on the ground several times. What say you SkinsHokieFan.
