Seriously cow tipping is an urban legend. It doesn't really work unless you have like 5 guys and you could do that with just about any barnyard animal.

I have to go now, but i'll be back. I'm working on some "brokeback mountain" material so don't go too far Cowboys.

The ICE BOWL was the most famous game in NFL history and your Cowboys got to be a part of it you should be proud. It is the 40 year anniversary and I can't wait for the sequel.

Oh and by loser i meant bledsoe, Favre is still around but no one was stupid enough to give that washed up has been a second chance....... oh im sorry i forgot.

Favre was here in the beginning and he will probably still be here when brady and mcnabb and vick and mannings and romo are gone. He certainly will be remembered long after all of them.

The packers were here in the beginning and will also be here long after the expansion teams like the oilers and texans and cowboys are gone as well.

I live in Wisconsin and I hate the Packers because of fans like you.

You're really reaching here bud. Where I work, there are 2500 employess. Half of them hate the Packers, again, because most Packer fans are just like you.

(greatest qb ever) FAVRE

The only people who say Favre is the best QB ever are Packer fans. As you have shown, Packer fans are never impartial. They think they have the best of everything. "Best fans, best QB, best stadium, best team" blah, blah, blah. The fact is that most Packer know only the Packers....they do not respect the game and they do not respect their opponents. You obviously have never watched Joe Montana, Dan Marino, or John Elway to make that statement. You just look at the stats. Try watching the player play.

And as far as you claiming Packer bars dot the nation.....just ask those bar owners where they are from. I bet most say they are from Wisconsin and they relocated.

It was free agency and the salary cap that saved Green Bay from extinction.

And that is a fact.

I WAS trying to be funny punk. And you are correct there are many college courses and even many college majors which don't require intellect but polymer chemistry certainly isn't one of them. Quantum physics is the field Einstein helped pioneer (even though he didn't agree with it) and it is also not for the dim-witted. It is tough to score a 32 on your ACT and not be intelligent. I also scored in the top 1 percent of college students on my BASE test.

And did you read Pat fans post? He has been to Lambeau way out in the middle of nowhere in WISCO. Why cause the Packers are the most famous franchise in the league.

Pats fan we'll see you in the bowl and redo that 96 superbowl. How did that one turn out for you. Bledsoe was the young gun in that one and FAVRE was already a veteran. What ever happened to that loser anyway?

Well, I am no Cowboys fan, that I am sure of. But I think you will lose Thursday. I was many years ago, a relic from the past, but then I became a Pats fan and never looked back. I don't believe in living in the past. The past is only important in terms of thinking about the future.

I didn't go to Lambeau, rather quite a few business trips to Wisconsin. To me, there are only two places to live, Rhode Island or Southern California. That's just me. I am quite sure there are some really great places in Wisconsin, I just would not want to live there. I need interesting intelligent people to survive. Knowledge of facts to me is not intelligence. It is living life where there are lots of interesting people with many different experiences. That's how you grow. Being smart is not the same as being a rounded person. That is an absolute.

So, Bledsoe is not our QB. Brady is. The past is the past.

But bottom line, I am pretty sure you are going to lose on Thursday.

You were a cowboys fan and now you are a pats fan? That is pretty interesting. What made you or who made you (players) change?

One of my best friends growing up was and still is a pats fan. I can remember being in junior high in 89, me with my walker jersey and him with his pats hat and tippet shirt.....We used to take so much abuse from all the giants and bills fans......

Now no one believe he is a pats fan, the only real one I ever met by the way and for the longest time I had to deal with being called a front runner etc. that all cowboys fans have to go through......

anyway just found your story interesting. I am not calling you a front runner or any of that stuff, I am being honest, just curious as to why you switched.

There are a lot of people who think that favre is the best ever. Namely every record book at this point. I don't need to list them, if you know anything about football you should know already. Add that to 3 MVP awards. Who else did that? No one!

First of all with your facts... It would be impossible for the packers to fold. It is written in their bylaws that the team cant move or all of its assest go to some kiwanis club or american legion post or something. Did i mention that there is a 40 year waitlist for tickets. They were never in danger of moving or folding, you just made that up. They did have financial problems in the late 70's and made some deal with Milwaukee to play a couple games a year there. But, ****, there was only 50,000 people in GB at the time. I mean come on the stadium could hold the entire population of the town. You have NO IDEA WHAT your are talking about. They were doing fine until free agency came then they "needed" to improve their stadium to stay competitive or so we were told. But they were never in danger of folding.

Dude in madison. First of all you don't even live in Green Bay. And your post is almost as wrong as your post about the badgers fans. They are some of the best college football fans in the nation even when the Badgers sucked which was pretty much every year pre 91. In 80 something they only won one game but the visiting fans were so die hard at Michigan they stormed the field at the big house and tore down the goal posts after losing 42-3 because WISCO had scored first. Now that is DIE HARD!!! Tear down the goal posts at an away game after losing 42-3 (see per capita alcohol consumption).

You live in Madison but I don't know who you are talking to to get your info. I think it is your imaginary friend Dave, my guess is you don't have any friends and come here for human contact. But don't worry you'll meet that special guy sometime and then you wont be a virgin anymore.

did u poll the 2500 hundred people. you are straight lying. There is no way that half of any people polled in wisconsin would hate the packers unless you are working at a place where 2400 of the people are from out of state.

Salary cap saved the packers..........HAHAHAHA

It is really a very simple story. I lived in Dallas when Dandy Don and Hayes were on the team. My father took us to the games - oh in the Cotton Bowl then. I became a huge football fan -- and when a team wins it is so much easier to like them. So I became a Dallas fan.

But I was a California kid. When you live in California (in the times when I lived there) life was just about as good as it can get. So before Dallas, football was not even on my charts. My father changed that when we lived in Dallas.

Then my parents became divorced and my mother moved to Rhode Island - with all the kids. I was a Dallas fan early on, but then I moved into my '20's and said, I want to experience what my father gave me -- going to the game. So, I signed up for season tickets to the Pats. As a adult, my tickets.

It did not take me long to fall in love with the whole New England area and the Pats. We were pretty bad then. But, I really can't explain it, I just loved the Pats -- you cannot believe the fun we had even though we were bums. So, I am now a 30 years + a season ticket holder.

Well, that's my very short story.

You spend alot of time thinking about a movie about gay Cowboys.

Mensa never sent me any requests to join, but I've got to say that's very interesting.

Well most Packer fans I know say that stats don't tell the whole story....unless, of course, those stats favor a Packer player.

Let me ask you something.

1) How old are you?

2) When and why did you become a Packer fan?

3) Have you actually watched other great QB's in action like Montana, Elway, Unitas, or Marino?

It would not be impossible and it almost came to that. Why do you think the league went to salary cap, free agency, and shared revenues? The bylaws state that the assets go to charity, it does not state that the team can't fold. Why have bylaws unless the possibility of foreclosing is not real?

There were a handful of teams like Green Bay that were in danger of folding. Green Bay never had the money to compete with teams for players. If Green Bay had tried to sign big name players before the salary cap and especially before revenue sharing, they would have folded like a cheap tent. They simply did not have the money to compete until the salary cap. It evened out the playing field and it saved a few teams from foreclosing....Green Bay being one of them.

You, as a Packer fan, should remember the lean years when coaches of other teams would scold their players performing badly by telling them" If you don't shape up, we'll ship to Green Bay" . Nobody wanted to play in Green Bay. Nobody. The team was low on cash, had no interest from players to go there, and Green Bay was not a good place to play.

I can tell you're a post-Favre fan.

tricksr4kids;1791465 said:

And I thank God daily for that.

As far as living in Madison, I have been a lifelong Badger fan. I have season tickets to Badger football games. I got my tickets before Barry Alvarez became coach. Anybody could get tickets then, simply because a lot of Badger fans are like Packer fans.....fair weather fans.

Once Barry turned the team into winners, the bandwagon filled. You can't even sniff season tickets now.
