NFLN: Lions get permission to speak with Garrett

Roll your eyes all you want, Jason is just another mediocre 90's era Cowboy that you have a fetish over, much like Norv Turner.

you mean the Norv Turner who got a very beat up Charger team almost into the super bowl last yr? the one who's got his team in the playoffs after winning 4 straight to close the season this yr? the one who's coached Phillip Rivers up to the point he's probably the best QB in the league right now?

yeah, it'd suck to have him around here

It's okay, I know the guy who cleans up.

There's a bloodlust here that will not be satisfied until someone on this team leaves/gets fired/or dies in a fiery explosion that shakes the entire planet...

You make it sound like a bad thing for someone to be held accountable when a team underperforms.

I do not know why you guys are happy unless the headcoach goes with him next year team is going to be just as inept as this years my guess it is going to be worse.

This offense will still be a turnover prone; sloppy route running undiscplined unit as it was before

That doesn't bother me.

Do you know who the problem is or are you just guessing?

If losing Jason means getting rid of Wade I am all for it.

That would be the case right? There is no reason to keep Wade at all....

You're right, let's just keep doing what we're doing. It's working.

Of course I don't know, I don't have the power to fire anyone either. Jerry, however is the owner and GM, he should have some clue where to start.

I didn't say I know who should go or if anyone needs to, but people need to be held accountable. Unless a 44 - 6 spanking and a train wreck season is just considered, "one of those things that happens"; and if that's the case, I need to find a new team to cheer for because I don't root for losers.

Garrett is the only coach worth keeping. He knows what it takes to win under the best coach in history of Cowboys.
jimmy

wouldnt be sad. if he went.

just hope it doesnt backfire on us but i have a feeling it wont this time around.

how many times in 2 years did garrett do this?

i think many fans rush to the desire to be "cute" makes them say things that have no factual basis, but gives them the warm "i just wet myself" feeling anyway they seem to need right now.

No but he did send everyone out on deep routes with the running back as the 'safety valve' on about 70% of passing plays.

No...I'm not saying that.

I don't know if the receivers are too stupid to run to the right place, or Romo is too stupid to throw to the right place or if Red is calling the wrong plays or if he isn't seeing the same thing thing the receivers are, or what?

Unless you know these things, it would be real hard to say who needs to stay and who needs to go...

I'm sure then the Lions would get in the playoffs with Garrett and the 'Boys watch at home. Again.

Im not that sure... Its the 0-16 Lions you´re talking bout... But its probable that BOTH can watch the PO at home next year...

I can't just guess randomly? You're really sucking all the fun out of this, man. :)

Like I said, I have no clue what the problem is but it's Jerry's job to get to the bottom of it and make some changes if it's the staff and Wade's job to get to the bottom of it if it's the players. I just don't want both of them sitting in a room, staring at each other and waiting for the other one to speak first.

Someone needs to go, period. You can't keep everything the same and expect the players to automatically get it. And I'm certainly not expecting StaffPuff and his excel spreadsheet of "changes" to be their savior.

I mean what kind of things is Wade going to put in his excel spreadsheet plan? Don't let QB overrule my authority when punting as number one?

Sidenote, I agreed with Romo with going for it.
