NFL's hardest hitter per NFL Live

Just one? How about that hit on Coles you guys like to brag about so much. If you go back and look at it, you would see that the reason Coles dropped like a sack of potatoes and stayed down is because Roy, the dirty hitter that he is, hit him helmet to helmet.

But hey, dont take my word for it. The NFL fined him 7500 for it.

LOL!

One hit......Funny that no penalty was called.

He is far from a dirty player. If he's a dirty player then you'd have to call Ray Lewis, Brian Dawkins, Ronnie Lott, and even Sean Taylor dirty players. They make hard hits that sometimes cross the line. That's called tackle football.

Heck, I guess Hall of Famer, Dick "Night Train" Lane is one of the dirtiest players of all time.......He basically patented the clothesline.

Or how about Deacon Jones. Now there's a dirty player. His headslap is now illegal.

Roy Williams' horsecollar tackles were not illegal when they occured. So if he's dirty.....then so are most players that have played football.

Roy Williams is a player that puts fear into opposing WRs......and apparently fans of other teams. Otherwise they wouldn't whine and cry about him hitting too hard.

You found one.....I repeat ONE "illegal" hit. And that's awfully questionable. I challenge you to find more. Post them here. If you can post a bunch of Roy's "illegal and dirty" hits (by your account there should be a bunch) that are unquestionably "dirty"......then I'll agree with you.

If you can't.....well then you're just a whiner.

I knocked people out, I didn't get knocked out. I had a concussion on more than one occasion though.

His helmet hits Coles square in the chest first. Momentum takes it up his chest into the facemask. If you call that illegal we'll agree to disagree. It was a hard hit, but it was not an illegal one. Even Coles said so and I'm sorry his opinion means more to me than yours does.

I dont think he did it on purpose because it looks like he leads with his shoulder but his helmet does hit Coles' facemask.

Funny how no NFL players call Roy a "dirty" player. Not even the guys he injured. Just a bunch of lace panties rival fans.

You just made my point for me. Thank you. Can't be dirty if intent isn't there bra.

....and later, we're going to break out our EZ bake ovens, and play with Barbie and My Little Ponies.

After that, we can give eachother makeovers, and play truth or dare!!!!

...give me an ****** break, with this crap.

Yea Taylor and Portis got fined for wearing different socks but Williams got fined for a helmet to helmet hit. That is different. If you look at the play closely, you will see where the top of Williams' helmet hits Coles' facemask.

You can't be serious.....

Do you expect Roy to hold back saying, "Well, I need to dislodge him from the ball, but I may come in contact with his helmet....hmmmmmm.....better just ask him to lay down for me."?

Roy has a job to do. If he cant' make a play on the ball, he must make a play on the receiver. There's no time to be soft....there's no time to think...you react. Things like that happen all the time.

Another thing....If the hit had been illegal....it would've drawn a fifteen yard penalty.....ANNNND....it would've been a lot higher fine that $7500. Usually fines under $10000 are for the less serious "incidental" nitpicky things.

If you want to talk dirty players.....how about guys that spit in other people's faces. That's dirtier than hitting them hard.

GEEEZ!

He didn't do it on purpose, but you claim that he's a dirty player!

Which is it?

If it was an accident, how can you call him a dirty player?

It was an accident that LT broke Joe T's leg....Is LT a dirty player? By your accounts should he have not tackled Joe so hard?

I can't take much more of this crap.

Skins fans need to be banned from talking about Roy Williams, on account of not knowing what the **** they;re talking about.

I swear to god....was I the only person that was told by your coaches - "Hit him so he never wants to get up. Hit him so the last thing in the world that he wants - is that ball"?

Tiddly-winks must play huge in Northern VA.

Thanks for posting the video....From what I saw (poor quality) I dont know how in the world you can call that a helmet to helmet shot. Come back when you have more visible evidence. Just cause he was fined doesn't mean that was the case. A stupid fine is a stupid fine.

Maybe he was just to traumatized by the expletives his coach was no doubt uttering.

In your original post you asked people to find you JUST ONE illegal hit by RW. I did. Now you're asking me to 'post a bunch'.

The headslap Deacon Jones did was not illegal but it sure as hell was cheap and dirty. Not every player did that and there is a reason for it.

The horse collar tackle wasnt illegal before last year but people didnt use it on a regular basis like RW did because it is a dirty play(illegal or not) and also dangerous. You're not tackling someone, you're dragging them down by the jersey.

Actually, no you didn't.

The horse collar tackle has been used by football players at every level for 70+ years. Know your facts before you spout off like that. It's a silly rule. Players on every team on both sides of the ball agreed.

I NEVER said the play was dirty. I said the play was illegal. Whether he intended or not it doesnt matter. It was still an illegal hit.

No...I think they were counted as tackles...I'm pretty sure the NFL put them in the books at tackles. What illegal hit are you talking about that you found? I haven't seen you prove anything.

Actually it wasn't and your own player said as much and you basically confirmed it. The blow was to the chest and then slides up into the face mask. No intent, therefore not illegal...incidental.

Actually, you didn't find ONE! Like I said, that was very debatable! Most on here agree there was NOTHING wrong with the hit!

Pay attention!

Did you just start watching football?

No one used it on a regular basis?

Bull!

I suggest you sit back and watch the NFL Network or old NFL Films.....even watch NCAA football.

Tell me you don't see the horsecollar done often.

Also, there was a big to-do last year by many ex-NFL players that claimed the horse-collar rule was a horse-neers rule.

I still think a player spitting into another's face is dirtier than tackling them hard.

Actually, I did.

I know the horse collar tackle has been around since forever. Players do use it from time to time but not to the extent RW does it. They dont use it on a regular basis because it is a dirty play. RW seems to do it just to hurt people.

Ask Sean Taylor and Jeremiah Trotter to stop doing it, then.

Unfortunately, they value taking down the runner at all costs over your sensitive sensibilities. They need to be stopped.

If it was illegal, then why no penalty?

I'm still waiting for you to post more "dirty" hits by Roy.

I know I asked for one (which you still haven't provided), but we could probably fine ONE for most players. Plus, ONE hit doesn't make you a dirty player.
