2 so far. but i'm not starting any. : )

I just started one only because everybody was bashing the pick....they aren't thinking of the games that we lost due to a kicker or were beat due to a kicker.

Were there any guys YOU wanted in this draft?
I mean, we are allowed to have opinions.
As far as where would he fit? How about at least challenging some of the bottom end of our LB pool to make it better?
Is this guy going to challenge Gramatica and make him better?
Doubt it. Unless we know something about Gramatica and this guy.

Sure, but try having a positive one from time to time but anyways,

Why would he not challenge Gramatica? I know enough about him to say he can challenge and obviously Dallas thinks so as well. After all the years of kicking issus you would tend to think trying to find a answer would be a good thing but if it's more important to find our 6th LB then more power to you

I cannot understand why people are against taking a kicker. It's an extremely important position and is the one position that can single handedly game in and game out either win or lose the game for you.

I like the pick. He's a big, strong, accurate, athletic kicker.

Pro Football Weekly said he's "nearly automatic 40 yards in".

As opposed to...

We should have drafted the other guy. I read his bio on free_draft_bios.com and it says he would've been a 10 year Pro Bowler.

you'll have to excuse silverstar - he's here to knock every move we make.

i see us the complainers are outnumbering the kool aid drinkers on this one. who know this kid might turn out into the next lin elliott.

I have no problem with taking a kicker, but why not Mason Crosby? Dallas isn't the only team that took another kicker in front of him. Did he test positive for marijuana or something or does he have any character issues?

Because according to Goose, at the Combine, he had the best performance. In fact, Crosby seemed to have bombed.

oh, i'm just pms'ing i suppose. i was mr angry this time last year, i suppose it's someone elses turn to tag in.

so far i'm ok with the draft. i think people put too much stock into their own "pets" and yea, it's a nice warm fuzzy when we get it right and they pick that player. but if/when they don't, people can sure overreact.

Superb PICK!

Weaknesses:
Simply misses too many kicks...Accuracy is shaky, even on the short ones...Has had some kicks blocked...Is not the type that you want as your punter for long stretches...Didn't get many opportunities in college and wasn't overly productive.

Don't know a lick about this guy...But if you go by that report...Holy Bejeebuzz.

not as unbelievable as all the knee jerk reactions going on with every pick.

The "knee-jerk" reactions are amazing... just amazing.

Are we not talking about a 6th round pick?
