PFF is being pretty stingy in their grading of Elite, which they should be in my opinion. Here is a list of who they've graded as Elite thus far by team (They are up to the Patriots depth chart)

Arizona: Calais Campbell
Atlanta: None
Baltimore: None
Buffalo: Kyle Williams
Carolina: None
Chicago: Brandon Marshall
Cincinnati: Andrew Whitworth, Geno Atkins
Cleveland: Joe Thomas
Dallas: None
Denver: Peyton Manning, Von Miller
Detroit: Calvin Johnson, Ndamukong Suh
Green Bay: Aaron Rodgers, Josh Sitton, Clay Matthews
Houston: Andre Johnson, JJ Watt
Indianapolis: Robert Mathis
Jacksonville: None
Kansas City: Jamaal Charles, Dontari Poe, Justin Houston, Eric Berry
Miami: None
Minnesota: Adrian Peterson
New England: Rob Gronkowski, Darrelle Revis, Devin McCourty

Matt Prater and Steven Gostkowski were their two highest graded kickers last season, and they graded neither as Elite.

Okay now I DO have a problem with them. There just doesn't seem to be any basis for their elite label, and don't even seem to believe in their own methodology.

They have Jordy Nelson as their 2nd best WR, yet he's not in and 4th place Calvin Johnson is?

No Demaryius Thomas (5th WR by their rankings) but Andre Johnson?

They also have 3, 3-4 DEs and only 2 TEs as elites.

Strange

Miami Dolphins, the only undefeated season in NFL History (1972), won the Super Bowl with the No Name Defense.

The Dallas Cowboys of 1992 had the top ranked defense in the entire NFL and not a one was voted to the Pro Bowl.

Less complaining, more winning.

So Andre Johnson is elite but Dez isn't? Dez had 8 more TDs last year.

They didn't have him graded as highly... that much I can explain.

What I can't explain is why they have Andre Johnson but not Demaryius Thomas, who they themselves, graded higher.

PFF. Biggest ripoff around for those dumb enough to pay for it.

Clearly Bailey and LP are elite; to say otherwise just screams normal anti cowboy bias. Tyron is right on the edge so you could maybe still leave him out but that certainly would be arguable. PFF had Witten as top 3 last year yet he is not elite?

I bet you "pity the fool" who pays for it, huh? :D

Seriously though, I do pay for it. I think it's just $26 a year so I decided "why not".

Their cumulative grades are dumb. Their articles usually are in the same category. But they do provide stats that you just aren't going to find anywhere else.

Has PFF done a depth chart focus on Seattle? I tried backtracking from the link one way and got a list of search results. Next, I tried to alter the link somewhat and was redirected to a subscribe page. Just wanted to compare how PFF grades us in comparison with last season's Super Bowl champions.

They are going alphabetically and are up through NE Patriots so far, so no, they have not posted their Seattle opinions yet.

PFF = Bunch of fantasy football geeks

They don't know what they're talking about. It's not like any of them ever played any football let alone worked as a scout or coached the game.

I wasn't going to click on this thread as it had 'PFF' in the title, but proceeded to anyway.

I can live with Romo being not considered Elite, but I would definitely put him as a High Quality starter.

If Dez isn't "elite" then I don't know who is. This chart is irrelevant just based off that.

OScan and Carr should be rated as good starters. I know everyone bags on Carr, but I think his numbers were down last year because of the Dline and the assignments he was given, and the expectation of being elite.
