I don't think Romo trust him.....much like Troy did not trust Harper. He is a body catcher....which makes him vulnerable to have someone knock the ball down or step in front of him. When you do not attack the ball in the air (like Dez)...the QB will not give you "chances". Because of this offense.....you have to be physically superior than your opppnent...and when Romo looks over and sees you getting manhandled...like he was against Antonio Cromartie....the QB will not bother wasting his time looking at you the rest of the day. If we had a passing attack that "schemed" people open...he would be fine....but on this team...you have to "beat" your man

He needs to be cut ASAP. lol

So far this year, I've read concerns about Witten, Dez, and now Williams not getting the ball enough.

There's only one ball to go around. So in a game in which Romo has just 18 completions, it's likely that someone will get the short end of the stick. Last night was Terrance's turn.

what would you do different? our players are not getting open a lot(beasley being the exception),our Oline has masked a lot of those concerns, sometimes you need to win one on one battles.

I would do more legal picks, bubble screens, and drag routes with our receivers.

Dez would get used a lot like Demaryius Thomas does in Denver. More high percentage plays that let him catch the ball and do something with it.

Also,

The pitch that we ran to Murray that had our O-line going one way and pitching it to Murray the other way should be a staple in this offense. Keeps teams honest.

If there is a stud that drops in the draft and he is the bpa then we should def consider a receiver

There are not enough balls and offensive plays to go around to keep everyone happy. There is always going to be someone left out.

I would have to watch the all 22 to know the answer to this. No way to tell based on the last few weeks.

This.
Sometimes the QB does not see the open receiver(s) or TW is clearing the play for underneath with deep routes. He was blocking well down field from what little I saw. Let's see what the D is giving in coverage. If he's losing one on one matchups consistently, then I agree. I just don't think that is the case.

Williams isn't targeted that much. Even when he was scoring TDs he didn't get many chances. He just made the best of the ones he got. If we throw to him more, he will produce more. Like someone said, Romo is choosing to go elsewhere with the ball. And there aren't enough balls to go around in the first place. Williams will be fine.

Am I the only one not completely sold on him being a legit #2? Considering the attention being shown to Dez and the run game by every team I think this guy should be good for 5-7 catches a game but sometimes he seems like a nonfactor.
I don't see a problem with him. They use him on clear out routes a lot that sets things up for other receivers. He has generally caught the balls thrown to him.

I would say that he's middle if the pack in terms of NFL #2 receivers. He's not Randle Cobb but most #2s aren't.

to quote on of the Cowboy's coaching greats, "It's a process."
I am sure, surer than me getting hungry before 4 p.m. daily, that Williams will half a breakout year next year.

He'd smoke about 4 bowls and then make a post contradicting himself about the win, and get it moved to the Rant Zone.

5 to 7 a game is unrealistic. Not enough balls to go around. Just catch the ones thrown his way. Which he is doing.

I think this is spot on. Listening to the radio breakdown in the game, they said we got 51 snaps. 2 were sacks , so of the 49 left , 36 went to either Murray or dez. Throw in a 5-6 to whit, a cpl to bease and pretty soon not enough to feed everyone

I would not object to an upgrade here; would also like to see Beasley get more opportunities.

Im sold. Im just not sold on the schemes to get players the ball in this offense.

This...always this! I would enjoy him being a bit more physical but otherwise he will be a factor as the Cowboys continue. Beasley surprised last night and I'm sure Giants fans and coaches alike were wondering just who the hell he was after that TD catch and run.
