Damn right! I won't stay on a ship when it stinks, that is for you. Now, that the deck seems to be getting swabbed, I have the right to climb back on. So get to mopping!
I’ve swabbed my fair share of decks.

I’ve been waving warning flags most of the season to pump the brakes on all of the SB hype. At least until we beat a legit SB contender.

The time has arrived. Not only did we beat the defending NFC Champion but they had best record in NFL. And we did in dominating fashion as we had some lesser teams which had been the support for the what I had defined as premature SB Hype.

Let the talk commence . We finally have a good offense and defense which can take on the more proven SB contenders . And while we need some help to win division and a playoff game at home , we definitely have the potential to make some noise in the playoffs .

I still consider SF to be the best team not only in NFC but NFL. Looks like the NFC is going to go thru them . That’s fine . We are still a team that should be a tough out for anyone . Bring it on!!
Even though this is a different coaching staff now entirely, I'm still going to maintain my playoff skepticism until we prove it. A Jerry Jones team has not made it to an NFC title game in what, 28 years. McCarthy/Quinn have a challenge to overcome Jerry's shortcomings. I'm just enjoying the ride for now.

Now is the time to began the SB Hype for Cowboys? No

I was critical last week saying the Cowboys had not beaten a single team who currently had a winning record. They now have but that is not enough to say they are truly Super Bowl contenders. The 49ers seem be the best team in football and will likely have home field advantage. It is unlikely that the Cowboys will even win their division. So they will need to be on the road 3 Straight weeks. Possibly flipping East and West each week..
Ok. So is there anyone else in NFC you’d consider a SB contender besides SF?

The next box that needs to be checked first is winning a big game on the road.

Not yet as far as SB talk. Potential yes... win out/win the division and we're on to something.

The time to start the SB hype is the minute after you’ve won the NFC Championship game. Everything else is just that you’ve qualified foe the little “Tournament” and, that’s no indication of anything. The SB winning 9-7 Gianys ring any bells?

The time to hype Dallas as a super bowl team will only come when they win the NFC Championship. We’ve been down this road many times before and this team should get no hype until they prove something. Of course, this does look different and Dak has taken his game to another level, but that’s not enough to overcome all those years they had great teams and got outplayed and out coached in the playoffs. I’m not hyping them until they are actually playing in the game.

There’s no hyping if you’re already there. Perhaps you don’t grasp the concept of hyping teams to be a SB Contender.

Again there’s no hyping after the fact. Perhaps either you don’t fully grasp the concept or are just totally against it.

Even though they looks terrible the past few weeks the Eagles have the next best chance. The should win the division and will no longer be playing teams who had more rest then they have had. The Cowboys had 10 days off the eagles had 7 rest. The week before the 49ers also had 10 days to the Eagles 7. Both games the eagles looked slow and tired in comparison to the 49ers and Cowboys who looked fresh.

Of all of the teams that has a chance to beat SF to get to the SB in the NFC, I think the Cowboys have the best shot, but so far they've been Dallas' kryptonite. We're seeing a different, focused Dallas since then though.

No, just saying this was a signature win. And a time to begin the hype . Begin being key word. It can still turn .

And if you have to wait until after the fact then you never had any insight or instincts it could meet the hype.

This win was finally some evidence we could meet the hype .
Gotcha my friend.
Was just having a little fun with you.
Let's enjoy the win over our main adversary.

still too early, wait till they do something like win a div round game an maybe win a champ game!
Then get out your SB drums and other cheer equipment and make some noise.
but until the div round game is over the rest of this is just stats records and talk and other fluff.

I am going to wait till they actually do
what they havent done in the 28 years!

We can but there’s no need for Hype after the fact. Lol
There is no need for hype at all. Hype is a business/marketing strategy to sell tickets and merchandise and get media attention.

For a fan it's meaningless. What are we hyping & why? We have proven to be a contender, which puts in a category with several other teams.

To be clear, I'm not talking about being enthusiastic or optimistic. That's what makes being a fan enjoyable. But what is the point of going beyond that?
