Lance can even play WR…
How embarrassing!
Cowboys are now trying Lance out at WR to see if he can make the roster?

Well in all fairness the DB was 10 yards off the ball and Dak ran OB . I wouldn't expect him to not lose a step after almost losing his footDak outran the DB to that side and picked up the first down.
How is that anywhere close to losing a step or three?
I think every year, take a 6th or 7th round flyer on a QB.We would be better off drafting a QB in Round 7 next year.
Dak's your QB!Well in all fairness the DB was 10 yards off the ball and Dak ran OB . I wouldn't expect him to not lose a step after almost losing his foot
Nice revision there. Dak played well in 2016 preseason GAMES, not in practice. All I suggested is to let Lance play in some preseason games first before final judgment. Not true.
Dak was not looking like garbage his rookie year in training camp. He was definitely performing much better than Lance has shown. Dak tore it up during preseason, then continued it into a franchise rookie record regular season.
It's been a mixed bag from what I've read. But whatever...I'm on the side of giving Lance an opportunity to play some preseason games before calling him a bust.Tons of video on Lance in camp.
He's doing awesome.
As he should be. he's not a rook.
Good thing for the internet. One can always go back and find what was being accurately reported about Dak's rookie training camp performances. Looks like it was exactly as I remembered and opposite of what you claimed. I would post the quotes from all the different sports writers in attendance back then in 2016, but it's too many positive quotes. Instead, I'll just post a link to a BTB article which lists the so many positive quotes from so many different writers in attendance on what they saw from Dak Prescott during that 2016 Cowboys training camp...Nice revision there. Not really. There were very few fans that were fully on board with starting Dak in 2016 as a rookie. That's not to say that he didn't quickly improve during TC because he did. But no one saw Dak as the savior until he exceeded expectations in the preseason games.Good thing for the internet. Just proves how wrong a majority of the fans were back then. Not really. There were very few fans that were fully on board with starting Dak in 2016 as a rookie. Which is why I argue that more evidence is needed about Lance, good or bad. If he sucks in preseason games, so be it. But if he shows something and has some success, then the Cowboys are more ahead in developing a young quarterback than having to draft one next year.Just proves how wrong a majority of the fans were back then.
