Out of position and gets turned around too easily. A 4.4 forty does not mean you have the physical ability to play football, it does not mean you can cover or stick with a guy, - it just means you are fast.

He was forced to start as a small school rookie. There is no proof he has not improved since then.

Like I said in another post, they replaced Church with Heath at times last season. They would not do that if they didn't think he had some ability.

either way, Bishop should not be competing for a roster spot with Gardner and Jack Crawford. As often as Terrell McClain is injured, we need another guy who can play the 1 tech. Crawford and Gardner are more DE/3 Tech hybrids. Coleman possibly could play the 1 tech in this scheme, but even then I doubt it.

I think Bishop is the ideal true 1tech for this scheme physically. He'll obviously have to prove that he has developed his technique and awareness from last season, but I don't see any reason that he wouldn't.

Coleman is an unknown at this point to me. Last year he tended to get blown out playing the run, but I think that was more a lack of technique and awareness than a lack of physical ability.

umm...no! Bishiop, Coleman, and Gardner have been tearing it up much more than Jack Crawford. Tyron Crawford on the other hand.....

It depends on which reports you believe. I've seen both very positive and somewhat negative reports about Jack Crawford.

I'm ready to see these guys in a preseason game so we can judge for ourselves.

Coleman is a mystery for me. I have been reading a few good reports on him.
But when we look at the over all players he might have waited too long to start
getting his head into the game.

At the cut down date, the thought process on Coleman could be that they think is has a little more talented than the next player but that they don't trust him like they trust the other player.

This is strictly what I've seen from the video I've seen available on the website and the networks coverage of our training camp. Now if there is something going on outside of video then my evaluation is possibly off base but just from what I've seen... filtered by mediot analysis :D

Good work. I think it's more likely they go with 2 QB's and keep showers on the practice squad

If we plan on cutting McFadden, I hope we bring in a RB that can pass protect, instead of going with Gus Johnson.

Other than that, I think we keep Gachkar over Showers and Bishop over Gardner.

Why Bishop over Gardner? Gardner was the guy that was predicted to be great but got hurt his senior year. They drafted him despite the injury and red shirted him last year. I don't see them giving up on him. Bishop is a one technique DT and although he could play a role, it would be limited. Gardner can play either DT or DE and is a much better pass rusher.

Just wondering why you believe we would take Bishop over Gardner.

I think you are wrong in regard to Gachkar...

As of right now he isn't pushing Wilber who was slated behind Hitchens at Sam I can't see us keeping 3 players deep at the least important LB position in Marinelli's D.

I think we are more likely to carry 4 rb's than 4 te's
Don't see randle leading anything in td's although I could see the 1300 td's
I suspect if we carry a power back he would be taking some of those goal line carries

Not to mention he is behind Jack Crawford who plays LDE, and either DT spot.

If Claiborne gets 6 picks I'll cry :lmao2:

But the 53 looks great. Can't wait for the season to get started!
