Why do people think of anything they can to STILL protect Romo?

Why in the hell would you do that? You want to start all over from 2001 again? And go 5-11 for 3 years? Romo is not a franchise QB and I seriously doubt we will ever see a playoff victory with him, but he's good enough to win most games in the regular season. Anyways, if you draft a QB, do you think a QB who can't even handle pressure situations down the stretch is going to be able to handle a young 1st round gun sitting behind him ready to take his job?

Two words buddy... MATT RYAN. Jimmy brought in Walsh to push Aikman for godssake, why shouldn't Romo have to look over his shoulder? Might make him a better QB instead of just having a nice free ride. Competition is a GOOD THING.
