Jabril Cox got passed by Damone Clark last year and DeMarvion Overshown in training camp this year.

That isn't fine.

Cox has talent but something is holding him back.

Does Dallas even want to keep working with him on the Practice Squad at this point?

Is Cox ready for a change in scenery?

Whatever happens this season, I don't see Cox being a Cowboy in 2024.

I wish him well.

As I understood Clark did not even play until sometime mid season - no mini ..no training camp, no
preseason games - per neck surgery recovery.

And we saw far less from Cox ..and far more from rookie Clark and vet Barr once the reg season rolled on with LVE out with injury.

As I understood Clark did not even play until sometime mid season - no mini ..no training camp, no
preseason games - per neck surgery recovery.

And we saw far less from Cox ..and far more from rookie Clark and vet Barr once the reg season rolled on with LVE out with injury.

Cox was thinking too much that cause slow reactions. This cannot happen at that position.

Cowboys traded Kelvin Joseph to the Dolphins, a person familiar with move said. LB Jabril Cox waived earlier. These moves were expected but are a nonetheless significant part of roster maneuvering as deadline nears.

So far to my count 16 have been released. I am not sure if they had a full 90 man roster at the end of TC. I did not have time to keep up on all of that.

So 21 to go. For the 53.
However they can use 3 of those for IR of Overshown, Stephens and Durden of all are really gone for the season.

Then some vet moves that agree to return once they make a few additional moves. Such as moving any players to short term IR. For which I do not know of any. Maybe Ball?
