This should do wonders for Jason Campbells psyche.

Lmao,The Commanders are really out in the wilderness.I look at that organization
and know whatever happens in the NFC east, they won't be contending.

ah i'm getting tired of not being able to quick reply.........

anyways good trade for both teams. i dont think Cutler is worth that much but the Bears who have had so much trouble building themselves a great young QB throught their franchise history well now they potentially have him. and for Denver they get extra picks that they desperately need to improve their horrible defense and i think they will take Sanchez who will be a stud no doubt it!

I like Cutler a lot, I think there are very few guys in the league that can make the throws that he can make. He'll be the most talented QB in the division, but they'll need to get him a go-to receiver. They can't count on Hester.

Gonna be interesting to watch. Especially once Cutler gets a RB behind him with Forte.
Imagine if they landed Owens....

but Holt is still out there; maybe they will get off of that check book and sign him.

Its a very good trade for the Bears....

Culter is proven......is young.....and IMHO is a franchise QB......giving up two 1st round picks in the teens....(probally) is well worth it.......The Bears now have a QB for the next 10 yrs.

Culter is right now probally a top 10 QB........sure he has some growing up to do....and has to cut down on the mental mistakes but the kid is young.

This was a solid move by the Bears and the Broncos will probally now be fighting the Raiders for last place in that division.

They still have Chris Simms who was on the rise until he had that injury.

If we lose to them without Cutler and Marshall, this place will crater.

yessir, but this could work out for the broncos if they can get some nice pieces through the draft for there new 3-4 defense.

Who do you think would have been worth two first round picks? Montana? Rice? Emmitt? I can see a decent argument for some guys, but in the end I just think two first rounders is too much to ask. Cutler is not one of the handful of guys that comes close to being worth it.

Something to consider, if Cutler got traded for two first rounder then someone like Troy Aikman should have been worth three.

Considering maybe 2/3 of all 1st rounders are either busts, or just "average" players (not bad players, just not stars), I think its a no brainer to trade two for 1, for a guy who is clearly still very young, and has 10 years left in this league easy.
Montana, Jim Brown, Rice, Butkus, Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, Elway.

Even present players like Brady, Manning, LT, Fitzgerald, Ware, are all worthy of two #1 picks in my opinion. I'm talking about bonefide BIG time players, and leaders of thier teams for years. Its a no brainer.

Really? wow Maybe Jerry should get on the phone while they are in a jolly mood and send them Crayton for their 2nd round pick.

Are not the Bears like 800,000,000 under the cap? :)

No player is worth two first round picks. I even think that no player in the history of the NFL was worth trading two first round picks to acquire. One can argue that there are a handful of players that were worth trading two first round picks, but we have no idea how their respective teams would have changed had they made such a deal to get those players.

thats right they need those picks so they can draft the likes of Rex Grossman and Cade Mcnown:rolleyes:

fair price for proven QB

I’m not sure how Chicago can justify trading 2 1’s, a 3, and Orton for Cutler when they could have had Cassel for just a 1 or maybe even a 2. Granted, until proven otherwise, Cassel is just a one-year wonder, but is Cutler that much more valuable?

If they keep their two 1st rounders, I could see them taking Tyson Jackson or Everette Brown at #12 and maybe Beanie Wells with the 17th pick from Chicaco. That'd be funny if they took Sanchez, but I would be surprised b/c they have so many holes on D to fill.

Physically, Cutler can make more throws than Cassel can. And Cassell also had a running game, a great offensive line, great WRs, and one of the best systems in football to flourish in.

Cutler left a one dimensional team, with a shoddy defense - always playing from behind, with no running game.

The Bears gave up a lot, but its a good move for both teams IMO.

I think Denver's new HC rates cassell WAY higher than everyone else. Some would say Cassell is much closer to Orton than Cutler.

I'm thinking they only paid a high 2nd rounder for him....which is a good deal.
