No a dt doesn't get taken out in nickel. A lb get's taken out and replaced by a db in nickel.

Get to know your Cowboys, and more specifically, your defensive scheme.

The 1-tech DT DOES come off the field in the nickel. You're going to spend the #27 pick on a player who plays first down, then goes to the sideline for 2nd and 3rd.

I agree that games are won and lost in the trenches, been saying that for years....but good CB's WILL make your trenches better than they are. QB hold ball cuz nobody is open....d-line gets more pressure. CB's are the arm of the d-line if they were a body.

Not a Texas fan at all - I root for Notre Dame.

Brown is a 1T who can actually rush the passer. He would impact the game more than Byron Jones, IMO.
