what happened to the draft zone?
You can post mocks here or in the draft zone. If you post them in the draft zone, they'll stay there with no problem. If you post them anywhere in the Fan Zone other than this thread, it'll be merged into this thread.

Did we move Henry to safety cause if we didn't then we have to either draft a safety or a wide reciver in the first round.

No we haven't. Also, I think Pat Watkins is our FS.

I know, and I ment, I think Pat Watkins is our FS... so we don't need to draft another one. Meaning, I want Pat Watkins at FS not somebody else. I think that was my fault for the confusion there. My Bad.

have some down time before FA begins?

Two Major Assumptions:

1. We re-sign Colombo, and
2. We sign an OG in FA

Round 1
C. Houston, CB, Arkansas (alt. A. Ross, CB, Texas)

Round 2
L. Woodley, OLB, Michigan
Woodley would play OLB in Wade's 34

Round 3
A. Allison, WR, E. Carolina (alt. P. Williams, WR or S. Smith, WR USC)

Round 4
Doug Free, OT, N. Illinois
Free would be groomed to play LT and would provide some depth along with McQuisten. Think Free could also play either OT position, giving us some versatility.

Round 5
J. Beck, QB, BYU
Beck would be brought along slowly, like Romo. Hopefully, we pick up a solid veteran QB in FA for Beck to learn from.

Round 6
A. M Wrotto, OG, Georgia Tech
Wrotto needs development work at OG, but he has the tools. Assuming we sign an OG in FA, Wrotto could be given a year or two to improve his skills.

B. P. Soliai, NT, Utah
Soliai competes versus M. Stanley as a back-up to Fergy.

Round 7
A. Nate Ilaoa, RB, Hawaii
Robert Newhouse's stature. He appears to have some receiving skills as well. I don't know if he lasts this long, but I thought I'd throw him in here.

B. J. Ford, LB, Central Arkansas
Again, this may be too late for him. But basically taking another LB prospect who Wade can groom for his defense.

C. M. Allan, TE, Whitworth
Had 53 receptions for 1,100 yards for a 20.8 avg (and 9 TDs). Maybe could also be used as an H-Back?

Feedback welcome.

Not sure if several of these players will last this long, but please feel free to give alternatives.
You wouldn't happen to have the measurables and combine times of these players, or if anyone could post them?

I just posted Allison's

off the top of the dome, Houston ran a 4.32, benched 225, 27 times, had a 4.12 short-shuttle, 33 inch vert, 10'07" broad jump

Woodley didn't work out

Beck had the 2nd fastest RPMs or whatever of the QBs, 61.5, or 62, it was

Ialoha ran a slow 40 time, in the 4.7, nearly 4.8 range

Doug Free weighed in at 323, and ran a 5.2, or was it 320, 5.23? can't remember

I don't have the official Combine numbers for Wrotto, but he's about 6' 3", weighs 317 lbs and 5.37 40.

As for P. Soliai, he around 6' 4", 344 lbs, 5.14 40.

I got those from Nfldraftcountdown.com.

You can add that to Summer's info.

His workout at the Combine should tell you one thing. Even if the numbers don't scare you.

He wasn't prepared for a very big event in relation to his career.

I'd want nothing to do with him for that simple fact.

That is what people lose perspective about the workouts.

The best rise to the occasion. If he's the best, he should have been prepared. Or been like many others, skip the workouts so you can weigh things in your favor.

The fact he participated and was a joke, that is not something to simply wave off.

he had like a 12" vert

This is a prime example of a ridiculous "Madden-inspired" fan proposal. My goodness, where do these people get these laughable ideas?

Looks good except I'd take a WR in the 2nd, especially if we get a guard in FA.

22...Reggie Nelson--I like this guy the best of all the FS in the draft. This does not mean the end of Watkins either as I think Nelson is athletic enough to play CB as well. Henry might shift to FS, he might not, but either way I would feel good about Nelson in the fold.

53...Quentin Moses--Ellis is a huge question mark coming back, even with him healthy we need all the pass rushers we can get. He will not be an instant starter, but in a couple years with him and Ware on the edges that is something to give opposing teams nightmares.

87...Steve Smith--I think this guy can contribute immediately in the NFL, but probably will not here due to the depth we have. Still though WR is a big needs IMO and getting Smith here would be a steal. I see him as a poor man's Marvin Harrison...great route runner, good hands, and very smooth.

I dunno. Some of these guys have to slip. I don't see 6+ WRs being taken in the first 50 picks or so.

Oh, and I just noticed...why the hell do you have DeOssie going in the 1st round? That's crazy. The guy had an incredible combine, but there's no way he goes in the 1st.

And you don't even have Marshawn Lynch in the first. That's quite a wacky mock.

his size and actually the guy has had a monster offseason started with the allstar games he dominated. it might be a reach a little as he's now on some ranking as a rd 2 guy. remember the colts run defense? they need a big tough gritty guy in the middle and de'ossie is that
