***Official Fire Wade Thread***

Will that solve all of your problems?

Will it make your secondary better?

Will it make the o-line block better?

Will it solve all of your special team woes?

Not a chance. No Romo, injuries, winning record.

Please. That was a 1-win team and they lit Dallas on FIRE.

That team just switched coaches 2 weeks ago and they dominated the Boys.

If anything, I think this game provided the evidence that a coaching switch mid-season can really do wonders.

Billy C. Ready to come out of the studio? Come on down.

Nope, he is not getting fired this Season. But really even if does, Garret doesn't seem to be the answer either. I guess Garrett should have taken the Rams or Ravens job.

You can't fire him while the starting QB is out.

Even Bill Cowher couldn't win with BJ under center.

romo is not the reason they lost today

we all know how jerry is. SB hype and now losing 3 of 4 and playing like crap???

i think it could happen

Changing coaches midseason doesn't do any good. Just ask Scott Linehan.

Oh wait a minute............

The difference is they have an accomplished Offensive coordinator in Al Saunders calling plays. they have jim haslett a guy players like, who coaches the defense.

Removing linehan is easy to do when the players absolutely hate him and their are accomplished people on the stafff.

Here in Dallas we have the Head coach as the only guy that can run this defense, and he is not good at it himself. So removing phillips would then cause us to have to find someone to run the defense also.

That cant happen in october. We are just going to all have to sit tight and take our lumps.

This is all jerry's doing imo. Cater to the players, enable the players, remove team leaders who work hard and dont point fingers and replace them with celebrity names with average talent. And most importantly undermine your coaching staff routinely, take a bright spotlight on a team and multiply it by 10 with the stupid hard knocks show. All this stuff adds up over time. It is all showing now.

It only took Jerry 1.5 seasons to beat mediocrity into an up and coming team with his lack of patience and obsession with the spotlight and the celebrity football player.

Yet if we stay the course the team is going no where sorry that is just mailing it in.

Dude Dungy called out his Indy defense (the SB run year) on television his entire defense. He said the issue with us and allowing people to run all over us is a want to issue we have to tighten things up and start playing with the necessary mind frame to stop the run.

Basically he called his entire defense soft on national TV and in the papers.

I remember that so well they responded to and in the playoffs they locked down the running game on there way to the SB.

Oh yeah. See, that was my point though...Dungy holds his team accountable when he has to.

Going 1-3 over the last 4 games, losing to the Cards and the Rams...maybe it's time for Wade to do something. He wont tho.

Wade is a horrible head coach.

I am just as upset w/this team's performance, on and off the field.

But for those calling for Camp to be promoted to DC are not thinking clearly. Campo is not a 3-4 coach, and it would be disaster to transition to a 4-3 at this time. Besides, have you all forgotten that Campo is even softer than Wade??? Sure Coach Poodle has a bark, but absolutely no bite.

I say demote Stewart and take away his play calling on game day. Let Wade manage the D directly, put the onus on him to right the ship before the bye.

If Wade can't refocus this team by then, then Jerry needs to stroke Jimmy's ego AND pay him an insane amount of money to guide this team to the promised land THIS SEASON.

Its not mailing it in.

This team is going down the path that has layed out for itself.

If you want to be the look at me and look how great we are team that Jerry Jones insists this team be, then you have to take your lumps.

They took this turn in the road together and now they all have to deal with it together, just like the fans do.

Unfortunately I see nothing changing but some names here and there. Jerry Jones will never change his stripes and with the new stadium opening up I expect him to do something more outrageous at some point than he has already.

Wade lost me last year, the playoffs against the giants. To put Terry Glenn out there when it was so obvious that he wasn't ready seemed foolish to me. Watching the game, you could see Glenn wasn't himself, he couldn't even make a cut. His knee was giving out on him, yet Wade stayed with him?

We should have stuck with what got us there.

If you know the truth I think Dungy is a hard arse behind closed doors his teams come out and plays hard. Even when he was in Tampa they played hard for him. He shows an even keel to the public I think he is just a guy that is very detailed oriented and players respond to him.

He has resurrected two franchises and gotten to a NFC Title game with Shaun King and Trent Dilfer as qb's

That means despite what people see as a quite coach he is getting the most out of players.

I just think he is more subtle with his jabs and he picks the time and place so it does not come off as abrasive or omg he said what.

I have not quite put my finger on it with Dungy but he seems to know what the heck he is doing

My Cowboy buddy and I, early in the game, just turned to one another to discuss the argument against/for firing a coaching staff at this stage in a season.

Not sure how you can honestly keep a coach after a streak of poor performances...Where do you start?...Wade is culpable, Stewart, Read and even boy genius...It's officially a disaster...Where do they go from here?

Not sure what good can come of packing up the staff now but there is a clear disconnect and lack of discipline/focus...Personally, I say you can Wade

Sometimes you have to change course mid stream it does not always work but I am still calling staying with Wade a giving up on the season mentality. Maybe we keep steward but I think the HC has o go starting Monday. Do I expect it to happen doubtful ? Should it yes but then again I am not in charge

He Should Have Never Been Hired! He Sould Have Been Fired At The End Of Last Season!

Ok let's just stay with Wade. We already know it's gonna fail, but hey, we can't replace him cuz we don't have an accomplished OCoord calling the plays (as if Garrett would have to give up that responsibility).

Has anyone ever seen Wade holding any kind of play chart? Or take the headphones off (are they even connected?) to chew people out on the sideline? Me neither.

It is sad to have all these 1st rds picks on Defense and still they suck. Do you think it is the players or scheme? All The players we drafted played in a 4-3. We drafted them because they were good in a 4-3..so we change them in a 3-4...maybe thats why we suck. Put the players back what they were good at..4-3.Bring in Zimmer,Mike Singletary(very vocal and emotional), How about Dave Wannstedit as DC(he was great)

Do you remember when the Ravens Defense was great? 4-3..then they changed to a 3-4 and it wasn't never the same...UNTIL they went back to a 4-3.)
