Dallas as a team clearly lacks heart but it was a slap in the face of the few teammates that do have heart.

as for a smile . I do not think it was as big of a deal but at the same time , could any one imagine Jimmy Johnson smiling after a loss and after a very underachieving season.

players do not have to dislike each other. that is not the point.

I will play my best friend in basketball and I love the guy but if he beats me I am not in a playful mood immeadiatley after.

one thing I love about Dez is he is fulll of heart and you can tell he hates losing. funny thing this could cause in problems in this locker room full of guys that care so little about winning.

interesting story in my opinion.

I know a guy who has a friend thats job is gaurd for the Cowboys jewlery.

before every game he rolls out a cart and the players all put their jewlery on this cart and a team of guards take care of it until after the game.
I understand this has little to do with pride and caring about winning but why would they care . win or lose the guys get paid.

Dallas has the wow players all over. the big money guys but not many of the hard work lunch pail guys. seems like a bunch of divas or diva want to be's.

I for one do not know what I would do with the head coach on this team. it would depend on what JG's plans are..
so far I have not seen enough as an outsider .

I do know one thing I would turn the rooster big time. If you have no heart than maybe you should be traded to San Deigo

I didn't like the timing of Choice getting that autograph from Vic particularly minutes after the loss, so I am more disappointed than outraged. But do I think it is wrong to appreciate or like an opposing player. Absolutely no.

One thing this game showed is that Tashard Choice is not super human running back, HE DOES HAVE BLOCKING ISSUES and that a good run defense can stop a running back whether it is Felix Jones, Marion Barber and 'gasp' Tashard Choice.

After his productive effort against one of the worst running defending teams (the Colts) the smugness in some threads was a mile thick over why Garrett or Jones didn't press Tashard into action sooner, in effect salvaging our entire season.

I, or should I say we all feel the same way.

I think Choice regrets it, he apologized, ... that's good enough for me.

My problem was never really with Choice. I mean, I hated watching that but he's not the problem. His actions, IMO, are a bye product of the problem.

There is nothing wrong with having respect for who you are playing against. However, that doesn't mean you still can't hate them.

Okay, so embracing, and haiving a warm conversation with an opponent after the game is more acceptible than getting an autograph for a family member that you love and care for.

If that's the standard, it's ridiculous.

yeah it means something different on your home field after losing in that manner.

it seems rah rah from the fans and guys like me to say it, but its not right. Do it in the locker room.

I don't even want to know what that might mean.

Is that code for farm fun?

I think that Choice regrets it because he really didn't think that it would outrage and hurt so many Cowboys fans feelings. I actually feel kind of bad for him now.

Choice apologizes
http://www.truebluefanclub.com/blog...om&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=twitterfeed

Tashard Choice's post-game autograph request for Michael Vick has gotten more attention, more criticism, than anything else from Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Eagles.

Choice and Vick are friends with Atlanta ties, when Vick played for the Falcons and Choice played at Georgia Tech. The autograph was for Choice's 2-year-old nephew, and he made clear via Twitter this morning that he meant no disrespect to the Cowboys or the fans.

"If its anybody that cares about winning and the d cowboys its me," Choice posted on his personal account (@tchoice23). "I apologize to the people it was just an innocent jesture for my nephew."

Debate the timing or the decision as you wish, but that's straight from the Cowboys' running back himself.

I am over it.

I am out-raged that our defense sucks so bad and can't stop anybody when we need to.

I agree. I am over it. More disappointed by our cheddar cheese d-fense at the end.

Do you want him gone because he asked for Vick's autograph or do you want him gone because you don't think he's a good back, can carry the load and we should let him walk because his contract is up?

I think both, I know he had a good game against Pitt and the Ravens but even then he didn't look exceptional to me, just an average back having a good game.

I think there is something about his demeanor that I don't like too. It reminds me of when Hambrick was pouting because he thought he deserved to be starting games.. just my opinion but if you show enough in training and in games then the coaches will start you, why wouldn't they?

I can't point at his stats and say he's not good enough because that stats say otherwise.. it's something else, I think if he was a feature back and the opponents spent time game planning for him that he would be much less effective than he is as a backup.

That's you. I doubt you have the pressure and expectation of millions of fans resting on your shoulders either.

That's why I can't get all bent out of shape over this. I don't think most of us can understand the immense pressure on players in the NFL. Leon Lett was close to committing suicide because of his Thanksgiving Day blunder.

I'm not comparing the two. All I'm saying is that NFL players have to cope somehow.

For some players, it's an all or nothing, them against us mentality. For others, they have to leave it on the field and move on for their own sanity.

I think fans get worked up more than the players because we live vicariously through the players but don't live in their world enough to understand the pressure and admiration involved in and with the game and the players who play the game.

Fair enough. At least you're basing it on your opinion of his skills. I disagree. I think if we get better offensive linemen, you'd see him shine more. But you answered my question.

I agree that fans probably get too worked up and that we don't understand what's all involved in players lives but so what? This game is about the fans and it's all for the fans. Without the fans, none of these guys have jobs. Without the fans, none of these teams exist, nobody builds stadiums and millions of people don't generate millions of dollars for the NFL. It may be that the fans don't understand, you are probably right but that doesn't matter. This game is for the fans and it's about the fans. Not the other way around.

I've been wrong plenty of times and maybe I'll be wrong on Choice, he'll get a chance to start and turn into a feature back rushing for 100 yards with regularity.. and I'd be happy to eat my hat.. again.
