His accuracy was on full display at the pro bowl QB challenge..or do those things not count because they are just for fun? You can't teach accuracy you either got it or you don't..#21 is the reason for the season and deserves ALOT more credit for the success of the offense..dak is another Matt Shaub with a better oline Matt shaub lived off of arian foster success

His accuracy was on full display during the season, completing almost 68% of his passes. Anyone who would make a big deal about some QB challenge throwing at paper targets is going way overboard. Those things don't count because it they are just for fun. He's judged on hitting receivers, not paper targets at a meaningless QB challenge.

Expected you'd say that, but it really was for something money and phillip Rivers got it

I can tell from some of your posts you don't see things very well. He's very good and had a great rookie season. You're just looking for things so you can bash him.

Why do you believe that? I believe that Tony Romo is better than Dak Prescott.

Mitch doesn't have enough starts. His mechanics aren't great. His footwork is really poor. He aims his passes to me. And haven't seen him perform in really big games.

Additionally Tony Romo should be a better QB, after all he has more experience. However I have zero confidence in his health. And while people complain about the playbook shrinking because of Dak, Romo can't run many of the plays that really were effective this past year.

Instead of things to praise him, yes...why? Because he had a chance just like Romo and failed I'm not gonna sit and wait another year or 2 to find out if he can "make it happen" he is what he is late round draft pick that was a pleasant suprise went 1 and done just like sir Tony Romo. Let's all be happy we lost in the first round and continue to make excuses for players and franchise..

Let's all do "Trade Dak Prescott Mock Drafts" and see what the team would look like and discuss

We should be able to add another 50 pages to the thread. KJJ do you mind kicking this off? Let's have some fun

Why because YOU know everything..lol..dude dak is good not great can we win with good yes...maybe...maybe not I won't sit here and blow smoke up people's pipes because of a season that I label as horrible missed opportunity should have started Romo when dak lost the streak and Romo was healthy. Go ahead spit in Romo's face just like the front office and the organization see where that gets you...dak I hope is good enough to win a superbowl but from what I have seen he is not

Dak's only had one chance so far and had the best rookie season not only in franchise history but in league history. He had a Pro Bowl season and a Rookie of the Year season. He did in one season what Troy Aikman and Romo did only once during their entire careers and that's lead the Cowboys to a 13-3 record and the #1 seed. He did something that no other Cowboys QB has ever done and that's lead the team to a franchise record 11 straight wins. He beat 2 future HOF QBs ON THE ROAD who've won 3 SBs between them.

If he was allowed to play the entire season finale instead of only one quarter he could have won more games in one season than any Cowboys QB. Dak is off to a great start to his career and if we had a defense that was worth a damn we could have very easily ended up in the SB. Dak wasn't even being prepared to start in 2016 until after the 3rd preseason game. The Cowboys can win a championship with him at QB, there's no doubt in my mind but for us to do that we're going to have to improve the defense.

Dak had the best running back and the best oline in football. Romo is a great qb who could win a Super Bowl with this team.

I never said he was "great" I said he had a great season and has the potential to be great. Granted this was a horrible missed opportunity but it certainly wasn't because of Dak. I'm not spitting in Romo's face where are you getting that from? Once our 11 game winning streak ended that was a good reason to go back to Romo? We were 13 weeks into the season with an 11-2 record and Romo hadn't taken a snap in a game since August.

There was no reason to go back to him, the Cowboys had already become Dak's team. You don't change Captains that far out to sea because of one bump. Dak is good enough to win a SB, he proved that in the playoffs bringing us back from an 18 point deficit to tie the game against Aaron Rodgers. Had our defense stepped up and made a stop, giving Dak one more chance with the ball we would have pulled that game out.

Like I said before, Tony dak who gives a crap. Twice in 3 years we had MVP caliber Qb, MVP caliber RB and twice in three years we lost in the divisional..safe to say its this dink n dunk offense oh no wait we throw passes between 10-20 yards we aren't dink n dunk..

Dak had the best running back and the best oline in football. Romo is a great qb who could win a Super Bowl with this team.

Romo had the same thing in 2014, the best OL in the league and leagues leading rusher and we didn't get past the divisional round of the playoffs. Romo had 10 years as the Cowboys starting QB and we only made the playoffs 4 times, with 2 playoff wins. Romo isn't going to win a SB because he can't play a full season without getting hurt. Age and injuries have caught up to him.
