On a scale of 1-10, how upset are you about the Tapper and Jaylon Smith picks?

Especially with how well our offense is playing...we could actually make noise this year..

I was actually excited about Tapper when we drafted him ...but uh .

The Gregory and Death Ro nonsense was bad enough and now this.

0 on Tapper

5 on Smith.

If Smith pans out, he could be one of the best 2nd round picks in the last 25 years. If not............................

I think its personal opinion if someone says "we are making noise " this season with no proof that this team can even make noise. Beating two bad teams is not "making noise". Unless you mean by making noise we fire Garrett.

The picks are up in the air, not fair to say one way or the other without proof. Do i like either of them, no, do i think Dallas passed up on potential? well thats nothing new either. Sad or horrified? at this stage, no, team has settled for the new standard of "mediocrity" and has done it for 20 plus years. Whats to get mad or upset about anymore?

Is Will Clay anymore impressive than what we previously had? not really. Not so much around the league, and Dallas really has no standard to judge against. We always get that 1 piece and cant bring it get over a hurdle.

Dallas and only Dallas has put itself in this hole. Its going to take a new set with a new direction to break it. Will that person come should be the only question to ask.

i can't say yet until i see if smith is playing next year. same for tapper.

in fairness though - the 2 D Lineman we wanted were picked right in front of us so i don't believe the best value at round 2 was a D lineman.

0 on Jaylon Smith. If he's the player he should be when he comes back, it'll be the steal of that draft (besides Dak).

1 on Charles Tapper. Only because he's a Sooner.

Being upset about tapper because he is injured now is like Texans fans being upset about Clowney because he got injured. It has nothing to do with due diligence or taking a chance....he is injured and didn't have an injury history.

The Jaylon Smith pick has an argument eventually these 2nd round gambles HAVE to pay off right....right?

Won't bother to give a numerical grade.

All I will say is we knew about Smith and at least he is an elite talent.

Tapper? I can only laugh.

Tapper was never even close to a Clowney level talent.

Ever.
