Optimistic about O Line

our coaching staff is however, and they feel that it could be better, so excuse me if I rely on them and not you

No, like you said, you "hope" it is better.

Thank you for your time.

He didnt, and considering you are adamently defending what was the worst O-Line in football, you might want to bite your tongue on dishing out the "you are wrong" banter.

I'm defending an average line when healthy that was improved

the worst offensive line in football?

I really don't think our linie was the worst. Ask David Carr! Your just full of hate for the line, that in obvious.

So, getting Flo back turns the worst offensive line in football into a top 10 line? Even though Adams is not likely to ever make the PB? Even though Adams is not an elite tackle?

I say, yes, when you add in the scheme changes. Also, we were a top ten offense before he got hurt. So I can throw your argument back at you. And Adams is an elite tackle! How many pro bowl does it take to earn the title "Elite"?

You still have not told me how you plan on defending the new scheme. That is the big addition.

He blitzed several times early in the game that led to a couple of nice JJ runs. He stopped after that.

Its a blitzing defense, why would he choose not to blitz for a whole game for no reason?

Yeah, he blitzed roughly twice the entire first quarter. Wow, what a maniac

There was no logic behind it. Even Commanders fans were begging him to blitz, they didnt get it either.

if there's hope, there's always something to give it, it's not like Dallas is just throwing something together in hopes that it works, no, they've done their research, so they must see something to give them that hope

They did their research on Jacob Rogers too.

Research does not guarantee success.

It increases the odds.

But it doesn't guarantee anything. So in fact, we are hoping.

Thank you for your time.

So defensive guru Gregg Williams decided not to blitz for no reason?

And you are fine with this explanation?

Somehow, I dont think having TO will stop Greg Williams from blitzing us into submission.

No, but Bledsoe will! Whichever LB comes, we got a TE to dump to. Go ahead and blitz. Parcell's made the changes he made for just that reason.

I can name 15 tackles off the top of my head better than Flo, he is far from elite

There is no new "scheme". Teams will blitz us just like they did last year until we prove we can beat it.

It doesn't matter how "we" think we can defend it. DC are DC for a reason. They probably have some ideas.

And if its truly undefensable, should I be expecting a 16-0 season and a Super Bowl?

Yes, sometimes things just dont make sense. Like Parcells running the ball on 3rd and 8, for instance.

summerisfunner said:
so it's gone from he didn't blitz, to hardly?

:laugh1:

No, it was always hardly. I never said he didnt blitz even once, every team blitzes at least a few times every game.

Like shooting fish in a barrel

Jacobs was an unproven rook, I don't see Dallas relying on any of them this time around

Pettiti is proven? What has he proven other than to be slightly more capable than a blocking dummy at RT?

Center is proven? We've had inconsistant center play for years now.

Thank you for your time.

they're still not rookies, so the coaching staff has something in the NFL to go on, and notice both are getting bigger and stronger?

So...they are more talented and going to make the OL better?

I'd take Ferguson and his 0 years of experience over Pettit and his 1 year of experience. But then again, I am crazy like that.

Thank you for your time.
