Jansen is a RT, ANderson too, Hopkins? :laugh1: what exactly has Gross done again? Lepsis? :lmao: McKinnie hasn't done anything, Samuels' best season wasn't as good as Flo's, it's been noted that Thomas is on the decline

I said tackles, I didnt specify which side they played on. Jesus, learn to read. As for your "anaylisis" of my choices, I wont delve into it, you obviously dont even know who half those players are.

I don't think the Dallas line will be among the Top 10. That's too optimistic.

But I don't feel they'll be thye trainwreck that ended the season either.

I think the truth lies somewhere in between.

They won't be worldbeaters and a team strength, but they won't be the achilles' heel they were last season.

If nothing else, the team has options they didn't last season.

And here's some food for thought:

Bledsoe was on pace to have a great season when even a "mediocre" line was intact.

Projecting his numbers "Pre Adams injury" over the entire season, he would have ened up with:

29 TD's 11 INT's 4,432 yards

Not suggesting it would have happened, merely that it could have.

And that was behind a line widely-regarded as subpar.

Who is Hopkins playing for?

Since he's so good, he must be playing for someone right?

Who is it?

Watching you debate, HH31, is like watching a kid with no arms in a slap-fight. I don't want to watch. I feel guilty for laughing. But I just can't help myself. It's awesome.

Pace, Ogden are clearly better. Outside of them - a few have had better years but none are clearly better. The Hotel is probably about 8th or so.
BUT NO WAY are several of them mentioned- like Jansen, Hopkins,Clifton, and others - are as GOOD as the Hotel.

Thought it was just me... :p:

Yes, sometimes things just dont make sense. Like Parcells running the ball on 3rd and 8, for instance.

You have a very simplistic view of coaching.

If ignorance is bliss, you must be one happy camper.

I am familiar with Columbo- he was doing well untill his injury. AND HE HAD the talent and was a legitimate first rd pick. He has spent several years rehabbing AFTER the Bears team doctor MISDIAGNOSED his injury.

Actually, Columbo was viewed as a slight reach at the time. Chicago was panned for the pick and thus far, it looks like the critics were right.

Make no mistake, this is a shot in the dark, not some sure thing. I don't care how impressive he is on the racquetball court.

He officially retired yesterday.

I have seen the scouting reports and MOST of them had Columbo middle or late first rd. I was living in the midwest at the time and most thought it was a good pick. At the worst he was a high 2nd rd pick. So the TALENT was there- physically. And this guy had no personality dings either.

I would say that the difference between a RT and LT is huge. Tackles look much better playing the right side where they usually do not face the opposing team's top pass rusher and have help from the TE. I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable replacing Adams with any RT.

Don't forget, now, Flo is adequate but not elite! Any good right tackle could be as good, right? :D

He retired, and he's still better than Flozell Adams. You seemed to have let the point escape you.
