Anybody that blames Kellen Moore at this stage of the game is just looking to scapegoat anybody other than Dak.

His 3 TE packages and heavy set usage this year demonstrating this guy evolves as the seasons go by. Dude is 5-1 overall with Cooper Rush.

He was damn near perfect today and these clowns want him gone. He had one bad pass to Brown early in the game. The first INT the defender grabbed back of his arm just as he released it. The second INT the ball hit Brown above the numbers and below his facemask. Brown should've caught it. He caught a similar throw like that, a much harder catch, in the endzone for a TD. You score 34 points you should win the game. PERIOD! If you don't then that means your defense didn't hold up their end of the bargain. PERIOD!

Joseph was the main reason we lost.
100% spot on!

:hammer::hammer:

Too bad the Dak hating group is too invested in placing blame on Dak that they are oblivious to the obvious. Well said bro.

I say wait until the season is over for the Cowboys before discussing the need to draft another QB.

Only a complete moron would watch that game from start to finish and claim that all of it was on the defense. That so called 34 point scoring offense did what for most of the 2nd half of that game? Where were they? We keep hearing about complimentary football, well complimentary football goes both ways, it's also your offense staying out on the field longer than it takes for Jerry to hammer down a scotch.

First off, Jerry loves him, so he’s not going anywhere… There’s also that nasty no trade clause…But what if…

Impossible
Cut this offseason, pre June 1. 89m in dead money.

Not impossible,
Cut this offseason, post June 1. There is no point to do this as his P5 is guaranteed. Literally no reason to do this…

Possible but kills our 23 offseason.
Trade this offseason, pre June 1. A little cheaper than Outright cutting him as his guaranteed p5 would move with him. Still 58m in dead money.

Plausible
Trade this off-season, post June 1. This is the sweet spot. We would save 31m in cap space for 2023. We would still have 40 million in Dead money, but it would be spread over future years 2024 - 2026.

Trade - You ask why would anybody trade for him? The answer is that since we would eat his remaining signing bonus, the acquiring team would get him on a two year 65m non guaranteed contract. There is actually value in that… Still that no trade clause though.

So there you have it. The only realistic option for 2023 is a post June 1 trade, that Dak agrees to. I think we could get a first round pick for for him… Maybe something like the Carson Wentz deal between Philly and Indy - a 23 third rounder and conditional 24 first rounder. .
good work. who are the QB options available in FA? please don't say Rush, because that will just tear up the good work you did

who are the blue chip FAs you have in mind?

I’m not talking about waiting until the trade deadline. I’m talking about being active right after the season and not waiting to desperately grab a part time player like Hankins or getting TY off the couch or courting an OBJ still in rehab

For the record Dak is going literally nowhere, but I’ll play the game. If you did your ideal scenario, Aaron Rogers will likely be an FA you can grab next year.

Im fairly certain he won’t mind going to the team with the least sacks and pressures allowed in 2022. Again, 0 belief Dak goes anywhere, but if you ask me, you could get serious draft capital for Dak and pick up an extra first and nab Rodgers.

Dak has a 2 yr when window after this season . I think it’s sound planning to draft someone who can challenge for the job once those 2 yrs are up . Cooper Rush is not the post Dak era answer but a very capable back up nice having in Dallas .

I highly question Dak warrants serious draft capital. His stock is dropping and he's only regressing at this point. Less athletic and slower each week isn't a good combination for a QB that never was or will ever be a pure pocket passer. Perhaps there is a desperate mug out there - Texans are pretty much at rock bottom, potentially one of a few possible outs. Aaron Rodgers would be sensational on this roster but it won't happen. He will probably join the 49ers.

The hate is deeper than football with you guys. At least on Twitter you can call people out on what their issue it really is.

What a Great Leader Zach Wilson!

He can really Inspire a Diverse lockerroom.

Lacks the mental make to lead.....:lmao2:

Is he able to stand at a podium and spew endless football related cliches after throwing a walk off pick 6?

If so he's no worse than our current team "leader".

I don't think he's moved on from after this season. However, I can see us using a top 3 round pick on a QB to start trying to some competition for him. Also, Moore needs to be sacked. We need to try something different at OC.

Yawn. This is literally the last leg left to stand on.

I feel for you if you're so emotionally invested in dak that you have to convince yourself any criticism of him is rooted in some nefarious bigotry.

Yeah...I saw a defense force a fumble near the end of regulation...and I saw a defense force a 3 and out on Jax's initial possession in OT. However, the offense went 3 and out and INT on both of those respectively. Complimentary football...like when the defense carried the offense for five games. The 3rd and 10 call/formation in regulation was some bonehead crap that only Moore could serve up. He just won't eat his vegetables or stay between the lines. Too many times some cute crap at the most inopportune time. It will cost McCarthy his job if he doesn't get a handle on these types of situations. Delegation is going to get him fired.
