I must be confused, isn't 11 + 8 =19
11 of the 15th were when we needed 10 plus yards.
The other eight were in third and long.

And I should listen to this guy:laugh:
I didn’t read those two groups as being mutually exclusive.

Of his 15, 11 occurred when needing 10+ yards.

Of his 15, 8 occurred on 3rd down.

So wait let me get this straight if a player sucks 7 years but has 1 good year out of 7......the good year is what he is and the 7 other years were just flukes? That logic is sound I guess......
Oh boy. Hmmmm....let me try and explain.

A "ceiling"... is a measure of how GOOD someone can be...at their best.

Like.... let's say u love golf, and play all the time. On your best day, when ur really focused and feeling it...you can score a 75. But despite all ur practice and time on the course....ur average score is 85. You're even capable of a 100 on bad days. You will never break 70....you just don't have the g*d-given athleticism, flexibility and eye hand coordination to do it.

As a golfer, your ceiling is mid 70s
Your floor is 100.
You're average / mean is 85.

Ceiling = mid 70s. You have done it. It's rare...(maybe one in every 15 rounds or so)..but u can do it, and you have. That's ur best. Ur ceiling.

2017 was Wentz's 75 on the course. He's played 8 seasons...with the one great one. That's Wentz's CEILING. Last year was his floor.

Yeah i'll just agree to disagree on this one. To me a ceiling isn't defined by one season. If that was his ceiling he would've hit closer to it but he's never sniffed that 2017 again.

I don't think he throws it thinking he can't make that throw. When he's throwing it he's expecting the receiver to win his battle and no one aside from Lamb could.
Well he better learn that a combination of: his arm and the receivers arent going to get get it done...... see, the 3rd down factor coupled with his awful >2 min and trailing Rating indicates his composure and performance dips quite noticeably when in clutch scenario's.

The offense has been productive. It’s not like it’s a bad offense.

I know, another Dak thread but this covers an issue we all have concerns....
I guess the question is whether or not it answers any concerns regarding the interceptions being an exception or a real problem.

I told everyone that whatever coaching he is having does not prioritize to check the ball down to the RB as shown on the first play of this video. They say that the TE is the QB friend but the RB is the QB savior. Look at how many receptions Emmitt, Dorsett, and Zeke had in their early careers and the success of their QBs.

I saw the same fault with Romo and the only consistent is Garrett's and Kellen Moore's play calling for the passing tree scheme. It does not check the ball down to the RB and TE in 3rd and long but looks to force the ball into error prone situations.

8 occurred on 3rd down aka combo of **** execution or play calling to be in that position and forcing things that aren’t there

You or the people that liked this post, please post ANYTHING that backs this up. If you dont like Dak for personal reasons, just say that.

Post like this are especially lazy since these things can be researched in seconds... but yall arent interested in facts.
After 7 years of the same group of mindless trolls saying the same dumb things about dak why anyone even cares?

Its the same dumb comments no matter what.

Only defense that seems to be giving them fits is San Fran from what I can see.
I repeat.....Dak's career rating when trailing >2 mins is 55 Rating (+ most INT's on 3rd D and long). You see i'm not your usual Blame Dak for Everything fan, he's great when everything's going well. However, he struggles when he's under mental pressure and my concern is that that: coaching, scheme nor weapons will overcome those internal frailties.

Where are you getting the stat from that he has a 55 Rating for his career when trailing? That can't be right.

So I for one think all the Dak hate is like ridiculously overblown - like to comical CZ proportions.... but thats a very cool stat.

Do you have the same stat for other QBs? would be cool to see if he's like terrible, middle of the road, etc with that. That's a big one.

I personally suspect if we have say 50% of our plays at least with the threat of some explosiveness >10 yards in our backfield that can help quite a bit. We'll find out .

Also wonder it is when <= 2min.
