I'm surprised you wasted your time trying to explain that.Oh boy. Hmmmm....let me try and explain.
A "ceiling"... is a measure of how GOOD someone can be...at their best.
Like.... let's say u love golf, and play all the time. On your best day, when ur really focused and feeling it...you can score a 75. But despite all ur practice and time on the course....ur average score is 85. You're even capable of a 100 on bad days. You will never break 70....you just don't have the g*d-given athleticism, flexibility and eye hand coordination to do it.
As a golfer, your ceiling is mid 70s
Your floor is 100.
You're average / mean is 85.
Ceiling = mid 70s. You have done it. It's rare...(maybe one in every 15 rounds or so)..but u can do it, and you have. That's ur best. Ur ceiling.
2017 was Wentz's 75 on the course. He's played 8 seasons...with the one great one. That's Wentz's CEILING. Last year was his floor.
Go tOSU!
