Our safeties were nothing less than a disgrace today...

Well, I'm not too happy with Roy right now, lol. I mean, part of a safeties job is to help in coverage. Heck, I would rather have safeties that are good in coverage, cause if I need one to be great in run support, that usually means I don't have a good front 7.

jeez.......

well Roy is no Woodson we can all see that today, Woodson's shoes are too big for Roy to fill....sad

Totally agree, here. I would most certainly exchange a few of Roy's bone-jarring hits for a few more pass break-ups, deflections, INTs, mental lapses, etc...I'm just sick of it.

thank you.

Some of you people are ridiculous.. if you actually expected Pat Watkins NOT to give up some big plays this season and ESPECIALLY in this game... you are an idiot!

For all the crap that Keith Davis got last year as a first year starter, he never had a game as bad as what Watkins had today. Further, I don't think I ever saw him crying on the sidelines like a junior high kid.

Watkins and Roy Williams combined to give up no less than three cataclysmic plays today that combined for 21 points to a bush league set of WR's today.

Our safeties in coverage continue to prevent us from becoming a dominant defense.

how bout getting a pass rush? the only way to have a dominant defense is to knock QB's down consistently...get in their face, bother them...sack them

we dont, and have never done that with any consistent success since Zimmer became DC

And Davis doesn't have crap for talent compared to Watkins. What's worse.. a guy that is PHSYICALLY incapable of playing or a rookie that made a few MENTAL mistakes and almost recovered BECAUSE of his physical ability?

You mean same pass rush that actually sacked McNabb and forced a fumble for a touchdown?

The pass rush was more than adequate today. The rest of the defense played their hearts out against the league's highest scoring offense in their backyard consistantly put in bad situation.

Unfortunately, they also have an achliellies heal.

No offense.. But you guys sound like idiots..

Roy has been our best player through the first three games.. He has been our best player the last 4 years.. Does he make some mistakes? yes. OK, now name ONE player in the NFL that doesn't.. ONE.. Peyton Manning? He threw a red zone INT against the Titans today that could have cost them the game.. Sean Taylor? he gets beat like a drum constantly.. Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Donovan McNabb, on and on and on.. so SHUT UP.. Roy is one of the best players in the league and one misassignment and one wrong play on a ball doesnt change that.. he still leads the Cowboys this year in interceptions and big hits.. remember last year at Philly how he won us that game? it'll happen again and you little fickle schoolgirls are gonna be jumping up and down, high fiving your buddy, and yelling Roy's name..

now, Bledsoe... that's a different story...

alot of you guys were slobbering all over watkins, proclaiming him as the answer, now he gets burned for 2 td's so he deserves criticism.
i don't give a flying f___ that he's a rookie. if you sucked, then you sucked. sit on the bench and cry like a baby.

Whichever option is "Gives up 3 TD's in a single game" is the worse one.

STOP - Just Stop. If you need to have Roy explained - you didn't watch or you're his cousin.
The man flatout stinks.

Well, I mean no offense to you either. Yes, last year, he won the Philly game. He also had a huge hand in losing that Skins game too.

This is the free pass I talk about. Was that a special play by Roy in the Philly game, or better yet I have another question. Was it a special play when Larry Brown had those interceptions in the super bowl for us??? Heck no, the ball was thrown right to Larry, he better catch it. Same thing for Roy in Philly.

I feel like I am the ONLY sane person in a crowd of crazy Chicken Littles.. man, are you guys married? are you ready to divorce your wife after one bad day? all those great days and happy times don't mean jack because she is mean to you one day?

but you are probably right- no other all-pro SS has ever misread a play before.. first time ever.. im sure that Ronnie Lott never ever let a TE get behind him.. sure he never misjudged the velocity on a ball..

Ummm, dude, watkins was on the other side of the field. It was obvious to everyone that it was Roy who missed the assignment. It was his fault.

you think the defense called for LJ to be uncovered?

So what? Watkins could have been lined up wrong. That's why I said, unless you know the defense called, you don't know who is at fault.

Throw the Dline and Flozell in that pot while you're at it. ANd I would fire Zimmer today if I were Parcells... Either that, or Parcells is blowing it by forcing Zimmer to never blitz, and when he does, do something stupid and obvious.
