Can't say I disagree with you but it wouldn't surprise me if the "Network" came calling w/ an outrageous contract offer to get the most polarizing, headlining sports figure in recent history over to their side.

He makes you feel like he's finally turned the corner and saying stuff like "Romo is my boy".."we are going to get this thing turned around" and you want to believe him so bad! and then makes you wonder " hmm Maybe THIS is the year Owens calms down and becomes a new TO". Look at Az. why do you think Anquan Boldwin was yelling at his coach. Its passion and desire to win. If T.O. decideed to stop speaking to the media next season everyone is gonna say what jerk he is etc.... but it seems thats the only way he is gonna stop the media and everyone crucifying. Yeah he's had trouble and has been a distraction w/ previous teams but I truely think he likes where he is and just wants to win games. T.O. has been crucifide he deserves a second chance.

Let me ask the TO supporters one very serious question. This franchise is acting right now like they want to fix the problems. I hope you would agree.

Now, tell me how they get the whole team to believe it if the #1 distraction and lightning rod for controversy is allowed to come back? How could they even buy the sales pitch if it's just hollow talk?

I'd cut him before his $3.1 million roster bonus is due, which means before March 1st he'd have a pink slip.

Hos, haven't you learned by now that the TO supporters don't believe Owens is a "distraction and lightning rod for controversy." It's always someone else. [media, Garrett, Witten] The media is a problem and they seek out the lightning rod, but the interview with Deion was completely and totally unnecessary. There's no reason to do that if Owens really has wised up.

Everyone has his/her own interpretation, and I'm starting to believe that we will never see eye to eye on this issue.

You guys wanna hold on to something that doesn't concern the cowboys. I dont agree with what Anquan did, but the coach had a big hand to play in it too he could have clam the situation down easily but he chose to jar back. If the play calling wasn't a spit in the face saying we don't want you any more I don't know what is.

I guess you can believe what you'd like but again- just because he distracts you, doesn't mean he distracts the team- I really doubt they perceive him the way you do.

Has anyone thought of the possibility that cutting TO would alienate a good portion of the team? Sounds like Jason Garrett is the only person who has a problem with getting our best offensive player the ball.

So it was T.O. fault the secondary couldn't cover a deep pass to save their lives or the center didn't pay attention to the snap count and the line didn't protect Romo. I guess he call the plays that kept him line up outside instead of moving him around to get a mismatch like we did the year before.

jerry pulled the I cant sign ware if I cut owens comment out of the hat when talking with norm 3 weeks ago.

maybe that was put out there to use during negotiations with wares agent in some way or in trying to move owens.

I am hoping when Ware's contract is settled and they determine roy williams, the safeties fate they then drop the hammer on owens. Their cap numbers will be known exactly and then they can compensate for owens financially.
