The funny thing is if Vegas were to make a betting line on whether this idiot will screw up again or not I would be favored over all of you.

Not when he's just one more infraction away from a lifetime ban. That's like giving huge guaranteed bucks to a guy who has a known chronic knee condition that could end his career at any moment. It's just begging to flush money down the toilet. And not if Goodell starts enforcing punitive measures and taking away draft picks from teams that frequently sign, draft and trade for known troublemakers. This isn't your typical guy who has a few black marks on his resume. There's a reason why nobody but Jerry is willing to give up even a late round draft pick for the guy.

I'm not completely opposed to the idea of bringing him on, but if you're going to do business with a snake the first step is to acknowledge he's a snake. This "I think he sounds really sincere" or "He's just been singled out and treated unfairly" nonsense is laughably naive. If he had any common sense he wouldn't need 6 infractions before seeing the light. He certainly wouldn't go to a strip club the night before meeting with Goodell about his future in professional football. That tells me more about his mindset than a thousand interviews with Michael Irvin combined.

Two good years and all that's wiped away. Take Owens for example. He's considered a model citizen now. No one would even question giving him a huge contract.

All I get from you, is you hate the guy for off the field issues. You do know Pacman was loved by his team mates and was said he was always the first to get to practice and was a hard worker...you seem to have this in your head, Pacman is a cancer and would bring down the locker room:bang2::bang2::bang2:

Be careful when passing judgment. He definitely made a ton of mistakes. Seems like he's genuinely trying to own up to them.

Remember, he's only 24 years old. I didn't get a smidge of common sense until I hit 28. I was broke and messed up. Who knows what I would have done with millions.

That said, he's still trying to learn what it means to be a man. For that matter, he's been teaching himself up to this point. He screwed up. Maybe he actually means it when he says he knows he messed up. His future choices will help dictate if he has or not. Until then, give him a chance. God knows I got a few.

That said, make the trade and let's dominate next year. You'll love the move as long as we have a championship next year.
