I don’t think so. He will be the highest paid defensive player, but I don’t think he will enter top of the market QB territory.
he might get just under Daniel Jones money though, lol

Especially since Parsons is still on his rookie contract…..Martin was already paid, appreciated, and respected….he just decided to extort his own team
I don't think he carried crap on the O line without Steele either.

Maybe. But the QB market money is not stagnant. It will continue to rise. Parsons is going to get a boatload of money but IMO he won’t be paid among the QBs leading the market.

This won't be one of my multi-segmented deep explorations. Just 3 quick thoughts:

1. Padded helmets make everyone look silly, but they make Deuce look like an 11 year old. Get over your "eye test"... it's only playing mind tricks on you and making you silly-fool. Vaughn is the one who knocks. Doubters destined to fold.

2. Speaking of folding...I initially wanted Jerry to make a stand with Zack, and he sure tried to plant his flag, albeit from the sinking sand of false confidence. After my initial posts I paused myself and actually thought about it. Martin had the iron claw of leverage, a very valid case he'd been underpaid for several years, and it was inevitable Jerry would yield, given the lack of any legitimate depth on the offensive line. We now know the outcome.

3. Poison? Micah Parsons is wicked smart. He watched this Zack saga unfold and he took notes, with whatever Lion claw-scratch calligraphy he's now crafted. The harsh truth? Micah's not going to submissively play out his contract. He's "obligated" to play through 2024 without a penny more than 5.5 mil AV. If you think it will play out as simply and comfortably as that...you silly.
No great or even very good players play out their rookie contracts. If a team lets a player play out the rookie contract, he then becomes a free agent, driving his signing price through the roof unless he is franchised.

Whatever Bosa gets this off-season is likely what Parsons will get. There’s no reason for him to get much more than that. We will see how much talking he does about wanting to win when it’s time to sign a reasonable contract.

Maybe not top Qb money, but he definitely gonna get the highest Non Qb contract.

I‘m sure the Cowboys FO was hoping the niners would get something done with Bosa so the market would be somewhat set. Bosa and Parsons will be very similarly paid although if Parsons has a great season this year he should be ahead of Bosa because of his versatility.

This. And Micah is younger, so there is an argument to made he's yet to enter his prime.

That was last season.
They got worse though. And they played a historically weak slate. Their biggest win was against Cooper Rush. Just another Philly Cheese ball trying to gaslight people into thinking the second best team in the East is the greatest team in history. Couldn’t move the ball against the sorry Browns this week either

If he does, the salary cap would either go through the roof or we'd have to let half the team go , lol

It's not going to be a problem as things stand now. Any big cap hit we'll see from Parsons won't happen until 2026. And that's if he gets extended right after this season. By that time DLaw will be off the books, and Zeke's 11M dead cap gone. Tyron Smith probably won't be on the team. Dallas won't have to drop a single player. What it might do is limit how many more stars they can pay.

First, relax. Next, are you really going to use preseason practice sessions as a barometer? 3rd, no one really thinks the 2023 Eagles are the greatest team ever. They look to have had a tremendous draft. Lastly, I can't believe you said the Eagles
can't move the ball in preseason scrimmages. Relax and breathe bro

You said exactly that and all of you Philly trolls are just that type of delusional. Just like the crowing about being undefeated last year and he celebration of a loss. The entire fanbase is nuts. Which is why you’re here

Same QB is playing numbnuts.
You mean the QB that was MVP runner up? The one whose peers rated him the 3rd best player in the NFL? The one who made the All Pro team? You are listing the one who played tremendously in the SB as the problem for the Eaglesthis year? Okay bro!

If you read my post and the other persons posts you'd clearly and easily see I was joking with him. But you're right. Our 3rd string guys couldn't move the ball in a practice 7 on 7 scrimmage with the Browns so our season is doomed.

You obviously care more about the regular season accolades. All of that glittery nonsense happens WELL before the playoffs. Which is why you're cherry picking. When it was on the line and it mattered, he choked a fumble for the L.
That sounds like a problem.
