Parsons Trade Discussed Internally

Micah is a future hall of famer. You don't trade hall of fame players in their prime. You build around them.

This is the dumbest thing and I don't believe it for a second, even knowing how incompetent our front office is.

Getting rid of an All-pro defender in his prime would be stupid. He’s not the problem. The problem is the front office’s refusal to sign any real free agents and build a proper team.
Okay?

So, I guess have fun watching an All-Pro defender in their prime be a part of 6 or 7 wins for the foreseeable future then?

Micah has the unfortunate burden of playing for the Cowboys in the Prescott Era. I'd prefer to see him go be great someone that can win.

But you believe that incompetent FO can build around him?

Are they incompetent or not? You can't pick and choose when to call them incompetent.

I'f prefer to watch Micah win instead of being another victim of the Precott Era of the Cowboys.

Micah has came out publicly and said that he would be willing to take less money to get talent around him specifically, Miles Garrett. How good would Micah be if he had even a halfway decent supporting cast? Like him or not he is an outstanding talent that we should hook our horse to and ride until he’s done playing.

Just my two cents

They are incompetent, but they're not that incompetent.

Front office should always talk through what if scenarios and the value of their players. I wouldn't want to trade Parsons and I'm sure the Cowboys don't want to either but everyone has a price.

I’ve been a fan since the Tony Dorsett and Randy White days.

But Jerry and Stephen are doing everything in their power to make me stop caring about this team.

If they do this, it makes it even easier for me to stop watching this team. Trading away the best piece on defense is nonsense.

This team will fail with or without him. The team will also fail with whatever draft picks they get to compensate his trade.

First, Jerry is not going to sign 2 significant free agent players. Micah is due to make $24 million this year. If the extend him they could reduce his CAP to a very small number. Then, you assume they will draft two "starters" But Mazi is a starter. We need players like Micah, not Mazi. You cannot be assured that any rookie they draft will be any better than Mazi and certainly not as good as Micah.
If Jerry is not going to do anything, then what is the point of the conversation?

Our goal should just be to have league leaders and not worry about winning.

Micah was already on our team. Paying him more does not make our team better. Adding 8 rookies and 20 more 1 year contracts ia not going to result in wins.

Not the problem, but also not the solution.

Booger the Risk Taker should pull the trigger, if be over the Risk Taker was a risk taker.

You don't get better by being afraid to move some of your favorite pieces.

Trade him for a 4th round pick. We need to outdo what the Mavs did.

Can someone post CeeDee Lamb's tweet in response to this rumor/report? I don't know how to do it.

Anyway, CeeDee posted:
"Y'all aren’t tired of this? Every offseason, top of the charts... Let’s just win ball games and that’s with 11! SMH"

Yes, CeeDee, we are all tired of the nonsense in Dallas due to the circus the Jones boys love so much.
